true.....but the ps3 cell was built with 9 cores, and 1 is turned off to increase manufcaturing yield another used for the os so it has 7 cells it uses. same goes for the spu's....in the other hand the cell in the IBM servers used to show how powerful the cell is dont have those limitation.
