To be fair the majority of profound attempts in modern times are never actually profound but quite simplistic and narrow minded since they have forgotten or chosen to ignore all history, philosophy and theology of the past.
To be clear then, is it now officially possible to have beaten the game and give a legitimate opinion? A couple of minutes ago it wasnt possible but Im glad you are one of the first to beat it and now the rest of the gaming community can have their opinions as well.
Gotta agree on that last part. HZD was very repitive after the halfway point.
I still platinumed it but by the end I was quite tired of it. I enjoyed Days Gone far more and wish it had more to do. Platinumed Days Gone as well of course.
On your first point I like to think Sony fans are not like sheep. I know some are of course but I was hoping the majority not be sheep. I am seeing the clear double standard that a lot of them have on this site.
So I checked the review bombs for the Last of Us...wait there wasn't any.
Im sure if it was xbots they would have review bombed the first one but that did not happen. Why would this one be any different unless it is TLOU fans who are upset.
Not the same situation here.
Those reviews, a lot of them are from TLOU fans who many will likely play the game anyways, pick it up later, or watch it online if they have not already.
They could have watched it though. Also depends where they live and if the street date was broken anywhere.
Also consider some could have received review copies.
Have we forgotten that user reviews are the way masses of people protest against some of these devs?
Many games in recent years have been review bombed and what matters has never been the actual score but the action.
Instead of protesting on the street they are doing it on metacritic. The "0" is the sign of protest. The majority would agree that graphics are good and combat is good, etc. But that is not the point they are making.
Personally I loved the Last of Us because of the awesome storytelling between Joel and Ellie. Also in how they included side characters that shed light into their personalities and the state of the world around them.
This made me love the last of us.
So far, none of that is in this sequel for me. I feel no connection to abby and ellie is barely ellie anymore. Along with some absurd story moments that fail to make me feel empathy considering the actions you take in ...
