That was a lethal combination of videogames and women.
Now if you excuse me I have to go polish my collection of medieval weapons.
Well... the man is known for his kung-fu kicks. Just ask the fans.
I think most (if not all) of those games got very good ports on the Sega Saturn.
Did someone say porn?
The way I see it, we have no problems with games about WWII because it's been clearly established long ago that allied forces=good and nazis=bad.
But a game about the Iraqi war? Oh that's an entirely different story because were not really sure who the bad guys are and we can't make Americans look bad in videogames can we? Look at COD4... That one's almost Bush administration propaganda.
This is more than censorship, it's hypocrisy.
Yeah I agree. They never said that their game would be more fun, just a different kind of fun. Like Ace Combat and Flight Simulator are different games but fun in their own way.
The author of the article applied a little spin on the title to make it more controversial and guarantee some hits.
That was quite an amusing fail.
Don't worry mate, at least you gave us a reason to laugh while reading this horrible excuse for a news story.
It started as "We are now starting to see developers creating games on PS3 and then porting them to other platforms" and ended as "I thought all new multiplats were supposed to use the PS3 as the lead platform"?
Now that's quite a spin!
There's nothing wrong with a Seattle newspaper having a section about Microsoft news, or any other newspaper for that matter... But there is something inherently wrong about using that section to post news about anything remotely videogame related, and even more so when analyzing Microsoft's competition.
I wonder what's next for this "Microsoft section". A story about the newest Macbook, or maybe the most recent Ubuntu distro?
Furthermore, no one's crying ...
I'm not kidding... Just check the first word on the title bar for the window that opens up when you hit the link.
[sarcasm]Independent and unbiased journalism for sure![/sarcasm]
Why the sarcasm? It's true. The Atari 2600 gave birth to all modern consoles.
@1.6 - The powerglove had motion controls long before Mr. Gates "came up" with the idea.
Can you even understand the irony of what you just said?
... But I wish I had a Ferrari.
meh...
It's not that simple. Unreal Tournament 3 and Mirror's Edge both used the Unreal Engine 3 with great results on the PS3. So the "PS3's crappy support of the UE3" is no excuse.
And besides, Bioshock DOES NOT use the UE3. It runs on a heavily modified version of the Unreal Engine 2.5.
Why am I not surprised?
Been playing much Uncharted on your 360?
Go troll somewhere else! What's the matter? Shortage of news on the 360 section?
Clearly you never owned a Dreamcast...
...Or a PS3 for that matter.
@ 1.6 - It's not that I disagree with you but 10 years ago any online service on consoles was innovative and very much experimental. You can forgive Sega for providing a flawed service, since it had never been done before. But you can't sing praises at Nintendo for providing a messy overcomplicated and frustrating online experience nowadays. It just doesn't cut it.
Hardware demands will surely be higher for Windows 7. It's the only reason I can think off to choose Vista over W7.
Anyway, MS sure seems confident in their new product.\sarcasm
Forget that there are other territories besides NA. America is all that matters. The rest of the world? A barren wasteland! Meaningless I tell ya!!!
Can't wait for the articles quoting this article as proof that the PS3 is dying.
That's one of the most bizarre analogies I've ever seen... And that's saying something!
