Where it reads "God-awful trouble for Sony", it should read "God-awful trouble for Australian gamers".
My COD4 blu-ray disc as taken a lot (and I mean A LOT) of abuse, and it still doesn't have a single scratch. Maybe it's the work of some disgruntled employee who's still sore about HD-DVD?
Well for some games, pretty trees are indeed an asset. But on a racing game?... 16 cars on track seems to be a much better characteristic.
You're right about those less features and worse tracks though. If only GT5 had NASCAR and WRC racing as well as real world tracks such as Nurburgring and Suzuka. Oh wait...
You should play Panzer Dragoon Zwei. It's still the best in the franchise, in my opinion.
I've been using SSF for 2 years. Outstanding emulator, easy to use and highly compatible.
I guess the contributor didn't read the memo stating that only anti-ps3 blogs posted by bloodmask should get approved.
And by the way, how many games on 360 have sold over 10 million units? No scratch that... how many games have sold 5 million?
The iPhone uses a Samsung CPU and a PowerVR GPU (yes, the same powerVR architecture used in the Dreamcast). There are no Nvidia components in any version of the iPhone.
Wii sports in HD will destroy all other consoles... ALL I tell ya! And don't even get me started on Wii music. /s
Edge is a magazine, not a site. And don't rely too much on their reviews. Controversial scores are what keeps them going, otherwise they would end up just like EGM.
According to Gamesradar, the "Xbox 360 version is still the better-looking" one. And they use 2 low res screenshots to exemplify.
Interestingly enough, Eurogamer sates exactly the opposite. And they use 2 higher res screenshots to exemplify ( http://www.eurogamer.pt/gal...
Considering the PS3 version runs in native 720p and the 360 version runs in 5...
If you put that the other way around, it actually sounds more reasonable:
"I respected his music but just wasn't a fan of the man so I passed."
I can understand anyone who admires Michael Jackson as an artist, but it's hard to respect such an eccentric and disturbed person.
Nathan Fillion would totally nail Drakes's witty personality. Either him or Ryan Reynolds would be great choices. Gerard Butler could work too.
I just don't know what on earth possessed them to put Ben Affleck on that list.
Street Fighter Alpha 4 in HD would be absolutely awesome! I'm probably the only person on the planet who thinks SF Alpha 3 was better than SFIII.
Those are valid points indeed, but I'm talking strictly from the gamer's perspective. Let me exemplify: I bought a new PC (a pretty good one) back in 2001, but I had to upgrade it in 2003 when NFS Underground was released.
Yes the PC is loaded with cutting edge technology when compared to consoles, as is stated in the article. But frequently upgrading your PC in order to keep up with that technology is not more cost-effective than spending $300-400 on a new console every 5 years,...
I can't say I agree with #3 on that list at all. It's not just a new video card every couple of years, it's also a new CPU + MOBO + RAM every 4-5 years. That hardly beats a new console every 5-6 years, doesn't it?
EPIC WIN! :P
Eu sei que é o Sócrates quem nos governa(?), mas o Presidente tem o direito de veto e não o usou tanto quanto podia/devia. Mas que é um Presidente viajado lá isso é.
Cavaco Silva sure knows his tech stuff. Now, if only he could run the country with the same efficiency...
And I don't see how this is game related (unless you consider Second Life as an MMORPG).
How does that work? You pay top dollar for a windows OS only to have Microsoft tell you what you can and can't do with your computer? Unlike what happens with the Xbox, Microsoft has no control over the software that other companies produce on the PC and as such does not receive royalty fees. They only make money by either publishing the software themselves or convincing you to buy their OS.
Microsoft DOES NOT control the PC games market, although not for the lack of trying. *cou...
This ain't Switzerland. There's no neutrality here. This is the gamer zone. You pick a side and you defend it vigorously while dissing the other side beyond all logic and reason. It's just how stuff works around here. /s
I'd like to see SC: Conviction on the PS3 but chances of that happening are slim at best.
It will probably be Star Ocean.
