I don't know if this nonsense was written by a fanboy or just someone who would rather be playing another generic arcade racer. Either way, if you can't put aside your personal preferences and review a game for its features and quality, then you shouldn't be reviewing at all.

Castlevania was one of the best games I played all year. Definitely the most underrated/overlooked game of the year and in my opinion, it's better than Bayonetta and Read Dead Redemption. Anything below an 8 is absolutely criminal. There's nothing wrong with the gameplay, game design, graphics or sound that can even remotely justify a 5,5. I've seen some bad reviews recently *cough*GT5*cough*, but this one takes the cake.

Best review I've seen for the game so far and pretty much reflects my own opinion about it, which I really didn't expect from Gametrailers. I love GT5 but at the same time I feel slightly disappointed by it.

That's pretty much the most absurd reason to give a low score to any game, that I ever heard of. It shouldn't matter if a game took 5 days or 5 years to develop if at the end of the day you're still paying the same $60 for it.
Don't feed the troll. Report it as spam and maybe one of the mods will wake up.
Why? I'm 4 hours into the game and that's the score I would give it so far. I've seen some 8.5 scores and, while I don't agree with them, I respect them. Anything below that is disgustingly unfair and reveals double standards considering the free pass that seems to be conceded to other franchises.
The fact is that GT5 isn't a game for your average gamer and not everyone will like it. It's a game for car lovers.
Yeah, an opinion piece with "smear campaign" written all over it. They broke the embargo mere hours after the online servers went up. I doubt they even scratched the surface of what GT5 has to offer. Shamelessly unprofessional!

And even you have to apreciate the irony of an OPTIONAL install on a system that features a hard drive as standard, when GT5's main competitor requires an install if you want access to all the content, on a system that you can buy without HDD.
Criminally overlooked game. I enjoyed Castlevania a lot more than I did Red Dead Redemption. You need to play it NOW!
What's interesting here is that, although critically acclaimed, Castlevania games have never been hugely successful at retail. There's a certain poetic justice at work here.

I'd love to know how you feel about those who support a certain other console manufacturer that made the mistake of using overpriced proprietary hard drives and made an even bigger mistake by redesigning their system, not only sticking with overpriced proprietary hard drives but also changing their form factor, rendering them incompatible with older hardware.
Replay mode uses in-game assets. It just adds post-processing effects like motion blur and depth of field.
You must be thinking of Forza, which uses different LOD models for gameplay and replay modes.

Open your eyes and grow up! There are troll on articles about Move as well. Fanboys from both camps are all over this site. You wanna know why? NO MODERATION, thats why! At least in the old days we had the Gamer Zone to discuss the article and the Open Zone for trolling or for the lulz. Now there's no open zone, no mods and no one gets banned. Anything goes.
Using Kinect articles as an excuse to troll on GT5 isn't going to make things better.

Also, if you have issues with the PS3 trolls commenting on Forza articles, take it to them. That's not my problem. I rarely even venture outside the PS3 channel.
