So there are still heaps of features we don't know about yet?
I do think it's being blown WAY out of proportion by some 'fans', I mean, look at Valve's track record of supporting its games. They have already released FREE dlc on both the PC and 360, yet when they create a new game, people are up in arms. Plus they do have to keep EA happy now, it's a little different than it used to be.
Both games aren't even out yet...nice headline :)
This game looks bloody awesome.
Unicron, bubble up mate. The amount of people who take reviews as gospel is staggering. If I had taken most reviewers seriously, I wouldn't have played MY favourite game this gen, that being Lost Odyssey.
EVERYONE has different tastes and opinions, it's about time people accept this and stop berating others when they have different views.
Most of the people I know who already have the game said it's really great. Personally it's not my type of experience.
mmm interesting. Really looking forward to Bioshock 2 actually, except the multiplayer isn't really doing anything for me...
And? You are part of the 90% right?
Mario is an icon (both within the industry and out), I'm not saying any of those games are bad or anything, they are all fantastic, but Mario is certainly still relevant.
I like Sony's offerings as much as the next guy, but that was a little naive. I assume you haven't been gaming for long...
The same morons fighting over the same sh*t every day, don't you guys get tired?
It seems each version has advantages/disadvantages, decide which one is right for you and leave it at that.
Agree Crab, can't we all just admit that there are fantastic games on all systems this year?
I actually think the multiplats this year are outshining the exclusives (the exception being Uncharted 2 and Forza 3), just think about these quality games we will all get to enjoy. Modern Warfare 2, Assassins Creed 2, and Bioshock 2 all look fantastic.
Cool, I need more RPG's on the Wii.
Anyone have Rune Factory on Wii, it isn't out in Aus yet and I'm looking forward to it...
This is what I like to see, fantastic devs taking notes and showing respect for their 'competition'.
Unfortunately the same respect can't be shown in here...
The PS3 most certainly does need a price cut. If not in the US then in other regions. There is a huge disparity between Sony's pricing, for a 80gb PS3 (thankfully It now comes with Killzone 2) it's $699 RRP in Aus... Seriously they need a bloody price drop.
To put it in perspective, the 360 Arcade is RRP $299 (with 2-3 games at most places), Pro is $399 (with 2-3 games, and Elite is $549 (with 2-3 games)... The wii is $399...
So as you can see, Sony really needs to ...
Looking forward to getting this game, can't wait for my holidays :)
Sounds great. Can't wait to hear what these Aussie cars will be.
It is a hard situation. On the one hand, I agree it may be a little early for a sequel. Though given Valve's usual support of its products I don't think you can begrudge them trying to make some extra cash...I'm in two minds...
Cheers. Sounds like a great show all round. Hopefully I will be there in person next year.
meh, enough with the Natal debates, guess we will have to wait and see.
So Morgan, how was E3? Any hands on with games that stood out?
Can't wait to find out more about this game, I think they are positioning it as potentially having the same effect that GTA 3 had on the PS2, which Sony knows was the catalyst for great success.
The 'out of confidence in Playstation' statement is kind of ludicrous though, obviously there is more to it, like a sh*t load of cash to secure exclusivity.
Agree. They likely assumed having the Bionic Commando name on the box ensured sales, well sorry to burst their bubble, but if you make a cr*p game people will catch wind of it.
