Looks awesome, can't wait to hear about the Aussie tracks.
As usual, Aus and NZ get the short end of the stick.
$499 Au...not bad but not what I was hoping.
Have they drop the price in Aus? Why don't we have worlwide info?
Regardless of how much the cables actually cost, it is pretty stupid not to include HD cables (either HDMI or Component) in the box.
I was absolutely astonished when I opened up my PS3 box and it didn't come with atleast component cables. Now MS are doing the same stupid thing.
I'm telling you now, there are people out there with a PS3 hooked up using the bundled composite cables that think it's in HD...
That was bloody amazing...
Just get a 360 mate, nothing like having all the systems, that way you don't have to worry about missing any games :)
I think the most frustration I have ever faced in a game, was TMNT on Nes. Those underwater sections with electric seaweed (LOL) were so bloody hard...
I agree Omega, I was taking the p*ss. I don't think I have ever read an interesting or thought provoking article from psxextreme.
I was thinking of picking this game up actually, think it was $35 Au at Target...
That was it... Not much of a rant considering the author's history. Slow news day?
Possibly the ugliest machine I have ever seen, couldn't possibly be real...
It sure is a joke.
We pay $99.95 for the privilege of dling Mass Effect.
Nope, Bioshock price is WAY above what we should be paying (EB are ripoff merchants), you can pick up a copy for under $40 at most places, infact they are selling the Bioshock/Oblivion double pack for $49....The same price as this single game.
It is a ripoff for many regions outside the US, simple. MS can now charge what they like, myself and everyone on the Xbox forums won't be lining their pockets.
I assume you're American and thus haven't looked at the pricing for other regions. The "crazy" "overpriced" comments are actually quite tame, in comparison to what I would label them.
$100Au for Mass Effect...
$50 for Bioshock
It is absolutely pathetic and greedy.
btw Check out Neogaf for a full rundown of the price discrepancy...
http://www...
I predict a 3 to 1 sale ratio in favour of the PS3 version. We have to remember, Final Fantasy (at least the numbered instalments since VII) is closely tied to the Playstation brand.
I will personally be buying FFXIII on PS3, not because I believe one version will be 'better' than the other, but because I want to continue my FF collection on a Sony branded console. I suspect many multi console owners will do the same.
Of course, surprise DLC could change this decisio...
Great comment.
WOW how original, relating this pathetic console war to a real life War scenario...
Alvadr LOL, nice summary of the complications when playing an MMO.
I have only ever played one MMO (Well and PSO back in the day), and that was FFXI. I played for maybe 2 months, but soon released other things in my life were seriously being neglected (fiancee and University) and put a stop to it.
These games are complete life wasters, you can spend months playing and you have done essentially nothing... No thanks.
Oh god it never ends, these sh*tty opinion pieces are clogging up this site. Look at everyone lap it up.
I love my PS3 as much as the next guy, but some of you fanboys would gladly eat a steaming pile of sh*t if it was produced by Sony, same for the MS fanboys...
LOL good points. Well we get some of the deadliest creatures known to man, both in and out of the water (FunnelWeb Spider, Box Jellyfish), ridiculous rating systems for games and exorbitant electronic prices (as demonstrated by the PS3 price)...
As for the TV thing, hey, we are in the same boat. All we have on is Home & Away...though you guys love that don't you? ;)
