Lucky ODST IS cheaper than a regular full priced game then, at least in Aus.
For my fellow Aussie gamers, BIGW have ODST for $68...better than RRP of $99 at EB ;)
Not everyone has to adore the game, thus the 6.3 score. Notice that their are various scores, 9.5, 9.0, and this 6.3...What does this tell us? It tells us that reviews (or reviewers) are objective, people expecting high scores all round haven't quite grasped the concept of differing opinions.
Unfortunately this is going to reach massive heat, due to (some) childish Sony fanboys (Fanboys as in the immature, zealot type). Anyway, looking forward to playing it for myself.
Damn, wish I had an online order. :(
Bloody great score, I can't wait for this game.
IMO the scoring system of many major review sites has gotten to the point where their numbering system is totally irrelevant. Scores of 9.5-10 are being handed out like candy, which totally dilutes the scoring of top-tier games. I really feel like we need to start using 5 as the average again, anything higher starts to creep up in quality.
9-10 should be reserved for the absolute cream of the crop (which is obviously o...
I'm still trying to fathom why anyone would want one of these at its current price point. The PSP3000 is now $260 Au (with a game or two chucked in) whereas the PSPGo will retail for $450 Au... I don't care who you are, that is a terrible deal full stop.
Myself, I will stick with my PSP1000, I much prefer the weight and she still runs like a dream.
Therein lies the problem, until Microsoft make the Zune(HD) an international product, it will never (EVER) see even 1/100th of the success Apple has generated with its iPod products.
The Zune is essentially seen as an American only product, which doesn't typically sit well with other regions when you're trying to expand.
Some helpful advice, avoid this game. Other than the battle system, the game is generic as hell. I suggest Tales of Vesperia instead.
What is this, like the tenth story this week on the same subject matter? I think it's about time everyone got over it, you're tainting your impression of the damn game before you have even played it.
No amount of whining and moaning is going to change the fact that the game is now multiplatform, buy the game on PS3 and be done with it, jesus.
Great comment. I look at the moronic comments on this site and realise that gaming will always be touted as entertainment "only for kids".
I honestly can't fathom how someone could have unwavering support of one chunk of plastic, yet utterly despise another, when both are designed to play games for our enjoyment. Why does it matter what system it's on, if the game is good, it's good irrespective of the platform?
Anyway I have wasted enough time preaching t...
Ugly boxart to match the ugly PS3 slim, fantastic... This is going to look sh*t in my collection.
Where in Greece do you live exactly? I can't wait to finally visit Greece one day, I'm actually studying Ancient Greece at University and I absolutely adore it.
I was one of the lucky people who got a 40gb PS3 from Target for $199 Aus dollars (that's roughly $150 USD), now that is what you call a bargain.
LOL it was the same price as a DSLite over here ;)
They could of added "only in America" on the cover too...
Yes we are aware that we can import the game, it is more the fact that SCEE consistently shafts PAL territories, and quite frankly I'm bloody sick of it.
Plus now we have to put up with the American bastardisation (S not Z LOL) of the English language. ;)
Depends, you in the Peloponnese? ;)
SCEE = Farkin useless...
Seriously, give it a rest, buy the damn game on PS3 and be done with it (I will be getting it on PS3), just stop your whining.
Those original screenshots were more than likely target renders, which were taken from the PC obviously (Crystal Tools aka White Engine), as stated countless times, FFXIII isn't being developed on the PS3 and ported to 360. Crystal Tools allows them to port more effectively to different architectures (PS3, 360 and even possibly the Wii) using the PC as th...
I really don't think Americans can legitimately complain about this with the way Sony is treating PAL territories.
In Aus, the PSPgo is $450... = $380 USD... Sony has a habit of shafting European/Australasian regions, pretty disgraceful.
mmm $50 cheaper than the PS3 Slim plus a free game, not bad. Though I still think the PS3 is a better (imo) proposition given the bluray player.
If only the HDD weren't ridiculously expensive, you could just get an arcade and whack a HDD on...
These 'Beta status' articles and the people agreeing with them are downright pretentious. So what if the game comes out on the PS3 with more content, it doesn't diminish the fact that TOV on 360 was a full game in its own right.
I think it's fantastic that Sony makes it a prerequisite that the game coming later must have extra content, to compensate for the time difference between releases, I just think it's arrogant to claim that TOV on 360 is somehow not complete.
