You have to give HHG credit, his 'articles' may be poorly written, and his video's are often excruciating to watch, but he sure knows how to bait the N4G community (kind of ironic I'm adding to the heat) :)

After playing both versions, it is quite apparent that the PS3 version has screen tearing issues not present (or barley noticeable) in the 360 version. I would recommend the 360 version if you have both systems, but either way, it's a fantastic game.

Does anyone else find the comments "Glad I don't live in Britain", "I'm American, so I'm not worried" naive. Despite what some may think America (or anywhere else for that matter), does not exist in a vacuum, these bills/laws set what's called a precedent, one which can take root in other locations once the ball starts rolling... You know, that is fantastic, I think it is healthy that people have different opinions. Thanks for not trying to shove your preferences down my throat like the fanboys around here, these are the types of discussions that are sorely missed around here.
Anyway, they are all fantastic games in my opinion, it's just that UC2 really resonated with my. I have a strong affinity for history and the great explorers, even if Naughty Dog takes some liberties with the story ;)

I really do need to try out Demon's Souls, but here in Aus, we don't get it till next year (I assume it's the same for UK/EU?). If I was going to get it, which version should I get, the US or Asian version? ANy difference? What about the collectors edition, it comes with a book or something right?

I beat UC2 yesterday...Man oh man, it is my favourite game this year by a mile, in fact it is my favourite game this generation (yes, even more than Lost Odyssey). ;)
If you don't own a PS3 yet, I suggest you get the 250gb Uncharted 2 bundle, but before you play UC2, do yourself a favour and pick up the first one. Even though you can play UC2 without playing the first, i feel it adds a lot more emotional...
I have been gaming since the atari 2600, and have played every console since, so I have no problem moving between controllers.
For me personally I prefer to play certain genres on each respective console. I like FPS (because of the off axis analogs) and racing games (because of the triggers) on the 360. I prefer to play fighting games (because of the DS3's D-pad) on the PS3. Every other genre I have no problem mixing and matching, of course everyone has different tastes, so peop...
