Personally, any game that I've seen using the Unreal engine seems to look like a bunch of bump mapping with Vaseline. Gears has great lighting, but any game I've seen using the unreal engine, seriously, looks like a game on vaseline (Army of Two, Gears, UT3, Bioshock, Turok, to name a few). There are some developers that know how to ease up on the "Vaseline" look and make it a little grittier as to remove the shiny-ness from objects that don't need shine.

Graphics alone display the hype that KZ2 is getting. Not to mention you saw a 5 minute gameplay video (low-res at that) of what the game has done in terms of graphics, physics and AI. So yea... it deserves the hype its getting.

and bold to say that Gears 2 has better graphics than KZ2 when only a 30 second clip was shown. As for Banjo being a AAA title... I wouldn't go as far as saying that YET.
As I've stated before, without a doubt Gears 2 will be a great game (you can expect no less from Epic); but to sit there and say that it honestly _looks_ better than KZ2 is just fanboyism... then again, it could just be your opinion.

I, personally, don't think Bay is cut out to even touch the likes of a MGS movie. Paul Thomas Anderson has a pretty good resume and with movies like "There Will Be Blood", I think he'd do his very best to make sure the movie comes out great. Anything, of course, is better than Uwe Boll. But aside from the director, the most important role in this movie is going to be the actor playing Solid Snake. I, for one, think Christian Bale would fit the role perfectly.

I loved the first Gears of War. Without a doubt, it was one the best games released for the 360 in regards to graphics and gameplay. The game is awesome.
Without a doubt, Gears of War 2 will be just as good... if not better. But to sit here and watch people act as if this game has made leaps beyond the first one, and compare it to the likes of Killzone 2, is absolutely ridiculous. Although I own Wii, 360, and PS3, I couldn't have said it better myself. By the way, Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata were pretty good RPG's on the 360. Just didn't have the attention. Check 'em out.

Just pointing out the obvious - for the record, Ninja Gaiden is a ripoff of the Devil May Cry series. Period. Orbs? Combo system? Button setup? Jumping scheme? Not really creative when you sit there and think about it. Only difference is that Ryu can block... Otherwise, it's just Devil May Cry in a Ninja Outfit.

And I must say that I'm not impressed with the lineup. The only games on that list that might be work getting, besides Gears2, is Fable 2, and MAYBE NG2. The 360 better step their game up for 2009.
