I agree with the last part of your post but you have to agree it's partly damage control. Either way, I've been to the future and back with my PS3. And I didn't even need a Delorean.
Anyhow, corporations do promise and don't deliver all the time. Sony and Microsoft are just two of the many. I'm sure most owners of the PS3 and 360 are NOT dissappointed in their product. As long as the companies mentioned try to progress their product then i can't be too upset if something do...

the tanks do have a good amount of power but both sides get tanks. Some fire quickly and do less damage and the others fire once every few seconds but do a lot of damage. I like using the shotgun (demolition) because of the rocket launcher. That comes in handy with the tanks. The only thing that pisses me off is the Helicopter. That'll take some time for me to master it.
True, but i have a bad habit of buying games and not playing them for a while becasue i'm too into another game.

If you don't like it then ok. What's wrong with them making one though? They're not going to head in that direction as much as the Wii. But they're not stupid either, they know that there's a lot of Wii owners and i'm sure they'd like to have something that PS3 owners can have that can compete with the Wii instead of having them buy one. The Wii can be fun but most of the games suck. Here's to hoping the PS3 does it right if they do it.

Yeah i agree if you don't like these types of games or any other MGS games you shouldn't review it. That goes for all games. If you're not into the genre, you shouldn't be reviewing games from it. MGS isn't going to be for everyone. If you're not willing to put in the time, it's not for you.
I think non-owners of the PS3 are more worried about installations than actual owners of it. I think that's sad.
I thought it was pretty fun. I dont think i'll pick it up but it has it's good features like the vehicles, destructible environments and weapons. I liked the maps too but I would have liked the game to be cleaner. It did take me away from COD4 for a bit but i always go back to it. I hope the next COD by Infinity Ward has vehicles. That would be cool.

Don't kid yourself buddy. Had any developer for the 360 said something in that nature about the PS3, i'm pretty sure you wouldn't have protested then. But since you're so worked up on hating sony every chance you get, you do. You made something that wasn't a big deal, the biggest deal. That's sad. We probably are right now. As more time goes by and more quality games come out, PS3 owners wont be missing out too much. I think most PS3 owners are confident that they'll have plenty to play in the future. I'm sure that goes for the 360 too. But as long as Sony and Microsoft try to outdo each other we all win.
