I use to love playing my brothers 3D0. Crash N Burn, MegaRace, Shockwave and a flight sim that i can't recall what it was called. Great times though.

That's the kinda game kids want to play these days. Kids love shooters. When i was younger i use to love games that were rated "M" because of the "mature content" that was mostly more blood, guts and maybe cussing. And just because they're rated M doesn't mean it's difficult for them...
They're comparing MGS4 to the rest of the Top Ten. So what if Mario Kart has been out? MGS4 is one of the highest rated games ever and it appears to have sold well so far.
All those other games got a real Solid Teabagging.
I can't help but think that someone knew it wasn't going to be that great and therefore decided to release it a couple weeks before MGS4. Now it's out of sight and out of mind.

I don't think that's totally true. Plenty of PS3 games have multiplayer options. If the percentage of all ps3 games that offer online multiplayer is a lot smaller than the percentage of 360 games that offer the same then ok. But i don't that that's the case. I own only a PS3 hence i don't pay for online, if i had to in the future i would because i love playing online. I'd HATE it but i'd still do it.
that it doesn't get to the point where a company comes out with a system every couple years. Give me a monster now and 6-7+ years down the line give me another monster, not a monster.5 or something like that which only was a minor improvement. It just sucks for young gamers the most because they're the one's that rely on their parents to buy them these machines.

Yes, and that's been proven already with the amount of titles 360 has and will release as compared to the PS3. That's not taking anything away from the PS3 though, they'll have their RPG's, they just wont be king. Nothing wrong with competition though. Things get better with competition.
And I also think that it's now easier to copy or imitate with certain things because of firmware updates and downloads which wasn't as big as last gen. I don't think originality is dead and buried, even if it seems to get to that point one day, one smart business will recognize that and blow us away with something new and cool.

Yeah, that was pretty simple. SOny should also work on a controller that would be able switch the D-Pad and analog stick with eachother. That way, if you like the positioning of the 360 analogs, you would be able to switch them and have that layout, if you like the way it is now, you can keep it like that. That would be cool.
Now that would be awesome.
