As i'm sure you're aware of, people have opinions. The majority of people reviewing the game don't agree with you. I doubt you played the game but i could be wrong. But if you didn't like it then that's fine, you're entitled to your opinion. But to say it doesn't have much replay value is silly because of the different ways you can play it.
you actually played MGS4? If you did and didn't like the cutscenes why not skip them if they were too long for you? I, as did the majority of reviewers, thought the gamplay was great.
With or without the cutscenes, there's still a great game there.
Can landmines also hurt your own team if they drive over them? And the Health the Support guy can drop, can that also be picked up by the apposing team or just yours?

What do you mean too little too late? There's lots of people that will welcome this stuff. Others don't care. It's not like this stuff was promised to us when we purchased our PS3's. And it's free.
Weren't a lot of people saying that the MGO Beta fiasco wouldn't have happened if it were on XBL? I hope those people realize how wrong they were after reading this.
Anyhow, hopefully things get straightened out soon and no problems arise once the game is out.
ahhh, i'm glad it's back online already. I'm off work in an hour and might want to play some COD4 online after MGS4!
On a side note, during one of the briefings in the plane, i used the MK II and went up the stairs of the plane where the girl makes her eggs. During one of those briefings, she's playing her PSP. Couldn't really tell what game she was playing though. Oh and there's also what looks to be the Gunmetal PS3 on the table. Did anyone else catch that?
Would it have been classless to add a mission that has to do with offing an attorney? Probably but that would have been funny after reading this.
I think it's closer to 10 then 5 years. Also, a lot of people still prefer physical media with it's packaging. Most peoples internet connections aren't fast enough yet to reasonably download games in a small amount of time.

Maybe Snake will be able to sport this guys getup in MGS4. That would be cool AND funny.
They should have one of Snake in a box listening to some tunes on his ipod.
I don't think it sucks at all for FPS games. Don't believe the hype. I tried the 360 remote while playing COD4 and while it felt good the analogs felt weird because i'm so use to the PS remote. I hope sony tweeks the remote a little to better fit in your hand. I think thats all it really needs. Nothing major though. Oh and DS3 + MGS4 = awesome!

That was funny as hell. I loved the video of Snake snapping pics of Crying Wolf (think that was her). She kinda looks like a mix between Charlize Theron and Rebecca Romijn. Anyhow, that was a good laugh.
