If MS comes out with their avatars thing before Home, you know it will be gimped. It's not always about being first. Quality is always best but I would like for Home to be out really soon.
I wouldn't say Blu-Ray was a Trojan. We all knew it was there and why. And I wouldn't say we were forced to buy anything. We buy consoles as a whole, we dont get to pick and choose what's built in. Comparing the two systems i would say the PS3 was a good deal for me and i'm sure many others aswell. You can now see real value with the PS3 and it's future. But I agree, Sony needs to continue to focus on gaming because that's what will ultimately sell the most PS3's.

The movies you can "watch instantly" kinda suck. I mean, there's a few diamonds in the rough, like Dexter, but there isn't much. I wonder if they'll start to add new releases? If so then that's great. Hope Sony does the same thing (maybe with Blockbuster?).

You're partially right in some areas. The update would have been a lot better had there been a lot more games that supported the trophy system. In the future i'm sure most, if not all, will. Yeah, MS might come out with something else that's big but we already know SONY is and that's HOME. It's a tight race.
