You forgot a couple =) I like gaming on consoles period...so PC counterparts never really matter.
Even tho games like planetside 2,warframe etc..are on PC they're exclusive to ps4 to me since I'd only ever play them on ps4 to begin with.
Mad Max, KH3, FFXV are not ps4 exclusive tho.

A big factor is this on Xbox One games DRM effected can be shared under circumstances and traded in for a higher value since you are also trading in the license.
On Ps4 DRM implemented games won't so your trades will be less and even your resale will if you have to pay 20$ or so for a series of letters of numbers and be online to authenticate.
Xbox has smartglass to authenticate...on Ps4 it seems since they don't support DRM at all and did nothing...

DRM is a publisher choice and it's funny how everyone who once had such great things to say about consoles when PC elitists downplayed next gen specs are now getting every XB/PC game on the PC...which needs to be connected to internet to authenticate with 0 ways to trade in if you don't like it....The irony.

Microsoft had a stronger showing and Sony basically gave it more by touting several other multiplatforms coming to Xbox One.
I don't see it as a great conference...price or DRM nevers been a problem with me...I've gamed on PC without pirating..so yeah..been there. I don't even think it's 100% free on PS4 because it's the publishers choice.

Nah...you'll never know which console will go through 3 redesigns and 7 core SKUs then its shipped numbers will be used as some defining factor of success when software sales are higher on the one with less shipped.
The most competitive of gamers play on Xbox. Even the PlayStation dominated Madden challenge for years is an Xbox event now.
98% of games are 3rd party. Xbox has them and so basically it has all the most played games of this generation. Anyone hardcore about gaming is fine with either system....they miss nothing but a few titles if they can't afford both.

PsN has a dull community. Imo. Games lobbies flare up around release dates then die off quickly with little to no enjoyable players a month down the line except for large titles like CoD.
On xbox it seems no matter what game I play I can expect a full lobby of random people....some childish...some arrogant....some cool who end up adding you then joining in on party chat meeting more mutual friends.
XbL formula hands down just defeats the lifeless PsN for me...
