PD long term dream for GT was not to keep making sequels with better graphics, handling, etc,..it was to create the biggest and most detailed Racing Simultion they could, in all aspects. This extra gametypes are part of the real world and this is just the beginning for them, We'll surely see much more improvements in the future to fully simulate those extras to add the realism you want.
Why get Nascar when I can do Nascar Races in GT5?

GT5 stands out the most visually stunning to me, but I'm not talking bout technical details, I'm talking about what I see visually. It just looks more polished than Forza 4 to me.

While I welcome the fact that I can now download and play PS2 games on my PS3, this should have been allowed since 2006. Sony, if I remember correctly said that they couldn't emulate the ps2 games as it would cost too much or something like that. So how are they emulating it now...because they can make more money off of it. It's all about the money.

Capcom is making a few changes. You can't blame a company for giving their games to another dev. to boost sales. After all you'd wanna make more money too if you were in their shoes.
