They add quite a bit of playtime to many of games. I am playing games years later trying to get achievements and trophies.
The only thing stopping the PS4 is if Sony makes the mistake and rush out the PS5. No need for that. I don't see it doing PS2 numbers but it should exceed PS3 hardware numbers.
The games are on blu ray disc, 50GBs, anything above that will have to be downloaded like many of our games now which many are much more than 50GBs
The X1 supports up to 3 drives. I have 3 drives connected to my X1S via a usb hub for 8TB of storage.
I have 8TB of storage so that should be enough when I get the X. External drives are already a must for most of us with many X1 and X360 BC games which mine are 193 total games so far
This is cool, but I still have my original Super Nes with all my favorite games, many are not on the list. Only 21 games built in is a bummer.
I have already signed up on Best Buy to get the notification as soon as it is available for preorder, I think it has not been certified yet.
I am getting it, without question. I still use my fatty, and S controller for the original Xbox.
It is clearly a portable first that docks.
Will it sell, who knows, but I am of the same mindset as I was when I bought the Pro. The only one I am concerned with is the one that I am buying, no control over how many units sell after that, so not really concerned about it. It will be what it will be.
I am sold on any GOW game, so I can't wait.
The gaming market is better when all three of the console makers have viable platforms. Who would not want that?
I suppose MS plans to do the same as Sony is doing with the Pro, sell them. Just like Sony, they offer 2 options, the X1S, and for gamers like me the X1X.
No villain to me. Phil just needs to keep doing what he has been doing. I am fine with him.
I agree 100%. I am 43 been gaming since the late 70s have owned or own almost every console from then and now so I have always owned multiple consoles every gen. I just find it hard to believe grown men come to these boards just to rile up one side over the other, but it has to get old I would think at some point.
Very sad these threads always turns into one side arguing about the other side. Many of us enjoy what both platforms bring to the table, and enjoy discussing news, not all this opinion, hate, my penis is bigger than yours teenage nonsense all of the time. Oh well, it is the internet, I guess...
I like the Metroid games also. I have a Pro also, so my gaming is well covered. Haven't found a reason to get a Switch yet but I think I am good. Thanks, like you said, we all win..
Great news!!!
I agree, given the specs I expected it to be $499, so I am getting it. I paid $599 for a PS3 at launch, so $499, it is what it is. If some think it is too much then don't give MS your money but for the rest of us, we are looking forward to it.
Nice, mine shipped from gamefly. If is worth it I will keep.
