I fully agree that the voice chat was blown out of proportion, but lousy advertising can definitely effect sales (although Im certain the Wii U will sell itself once it gets into consumers hands) Sorry I dragged in the negativity, it's funny how few people comment on the good news.

If you use smart glass for your tracker the xenomorphs will be at an advantage, the lag will make you fall prey to them quickly.
Don't forget sweet dual screen multiplayer and more control methods. They didn't mention it but im pretty sure you can still play with wiimotes although most people probably don't care about that. (I actually like IR for FPSs it works well and I like that I'm physically aiming at things)

(that wouldn't be too bad) Hopefully Nintendo does a software update or something because this seems like a pretty important feature to have out of the box. I do not understand why a controller with a built in mic cant do online voice chat during gaming sessions. This makes absolutely no sense, didn't Nintendo promote this feature at E3?! I'm glad they made educated guesses towards the CPU and didn't just write it off as weaker than existing consoles. So many gaming articles just state that it is weaker because of the clock speed and the haters feed off of it like urchins that they are.

I also agree that the Kinect and the Move are absolutely horrendous for almost anything gaming related but comparing those control methods to a conventional controller with added functions and it's own display is like comparing apples and oranges. Definitely pretty lame that it doesn't work with virtual console, you would think backwards compatibility would be an important feature for this new controller. I'm hoping you will be able to adjust the rumble intensity in the home menu like on the wii with the wiimotes. I like the idea of less batteries but I would sooner have decent rumble.
