I have played MGS4 and DMC4 for more than than. What it matters the most is if you really enjoy the game.
Eventually you will be able to play them through emulation. Just like PSP games on the VITA they require additional mumbo jumbo to run in the device.
As long as you a bought your games digitally, so that they are attached to your account, you will be able to redownload them once the specific emulation for each game is available at the PS4 PSStore, without any additional payment.
It will require some time, but it will eventually happen.

Everyone this day has usb drives, even if they can only hold 256mb, they can get the job done. And most people already buy their music digital, so what is the problem?

I wondered the same about God of War 2. But you can not deny that for the PS2 hardware GOW2 is a MASTERPIECE! and sold really great. That is why when GOW3 was released for the PS3 all the fans and more, bought the game. I think that is what Polyphony wants to achieve with GT6. With all they learned from GT5, they will make a game better in every aspect. It will sell like crazy, and when they announce GT7 for the PS4, all those 10M users will jump to next generation :D
