I'd rather have waited and got GTA V for next gen launch, but since there's no official word of a next gen version, I've settled for current gen and have no interest in buying it again for any system.
So wait for a sequel I guess.

Why do we now have challenges seperate from achievements now? Seems a bit confusing having two system hide reward systems.

I think in all likely hood the game was too buggy and they already have a similar game (AC4) coming out at the same time. Personally I'd have prefered WatchDogs over AC4 for a next-gen launch title, but I'm obvioously going to enjoy WatchDogs more if it has less bugs and is more polished.

I have to say, out of all the games coming out at the end of this year, this is one game that I am 100% resolved not to buy.

I think a lot of people forget that they are often just being amusing by being offensive and political incorrect. The way around this problem, is not get so upset by such attempts to grab attnetion. And when you think about, what's the big deal anyway? The motive for doing it is what's important, not whether or no someone was stupid enough to actually do it.
Well, that's the other aspect to it. I also used to think I should refer to the sex the person is born with, but the way I see it now, if they want to be referred to as a male/female, then I will, it costs me nothing at the end of the day. But unless it's clearly obvious what sex they prefer or the tell you, how else would you know how to refer to them? Very well said. I also think this might have been what happened to the comedian. I would certainly go through those paces is it wasn't obvious to me what sex the person prefers to be called. I guess you should simply ask them, but given how sensitive transgenders seem to be over their sex, there's always the fear of bumbling it up (much like the example you gave.)

GTA V is good, but it isn't even game of the year for me, not by a long stretch.
