You kiddin'? I've liked the look of this game since I first saw it (before the 360's launch). I've already spent all night collecting Fu(king agilty Orbs: my last count...all 500 of them! :)

Generally speaking, most of these "top 10/20" lists are generally crap. Although this one's pretty decent, some of their choices are quite startling. Prey better than Buthcers Bay? How did Prey even get on that list? At the end of the day, I've play most of these games and although they are good, the game I go back to the most is Halo 1/2 (yes, even Halo 2's crappy campaign).

Yeah, it was kinda obvious...

As for the article...Maybe the Japs brought it for the Halo 3 Beta :) :D :) :D

It's interesting watching the Sony fanboy's trying to sound strong in their panick and desperation. Seriously, don't they have their own games to drool over...

Do you have no idea how many people want a 360 just for Halo 3? Regardless of what your personal opinion of the game is, many people will buy, and play, the XBox 360 because they want the sequel to Halo 2. And if it wasn't that much of a Killer App, why are Sony trying to create their own "Halo killer?" (aka Killzone/2...)

That's what they get for being for the most popular brand in a market. Honestly though, it's no big deal, all it means is that people who know nothing about gaming simply say "Playstation" because that's the little they know about video games.

I'm sorry Jay, but I'd rather play Gears of War than develope real bombs Gordon Brown will use to kill with.

Well duh! It all boils down to individual people, and their choices. We really don't need research to tell us that some people kill because they choose to. I really don't think you can blaim any form of media for peoples actions: if people are influenced by it, it's because they WANT to be influenced by it.

Exploding barrels. Why do villians adorn their base with highly dangerous barrles? Why are these barrels scattered throughout the compound, instead of in a safe storage? And why, oh, why do the enemies stand right next to them in big bunches? Oh well, it's fun, and it kills enemies, so I'm not complaining...

Certain games definatly allow you to download while playing single player...I definatly know Dead Rising does. But I think other games don't support background downloading while playing the single player (there's one game in particular, but I can't remember which one).

I've never tried to download something while playing GoW or Crackdown, but I'm not sure about the jump in co-op theory, because Crackdown exits the game when another player joins. You can also play Live Arcade ...

In order for Bungie to make a $20 million game (or however much it costs to make a Halo sequel...) they need a publisher who is happy to release their game.

Usualy, the best way to keep a publisher happy, is to give them loads and loads of money (a bit like other companies...). So if your publisher wants to be "happy" by selling loads of merchandise from your product, it would be best to let it do so, if you want to make another $20 million game.

When did Crackdown come into this? You may not like free-roaming games, but there are quite a few people out there who do. I've been interested in Crackdown since I first saw it in a magazine (before the 360 launch) and having played the game, I have to say I love it. I think it's right up there with Gears of War and Oblivion. There's no harm in waiting, November isn't that far away now...then again, neither is spring...(chuckle)

Well that's new on me. I brought 3 XBoxs and I didn't have single problem with any of them. Although my 360 is fine thus far, I do know a few friends online who have had faulty 360s. I definately think the 360's defect rate is higher than Microsoft say...

I agree with DJ's comment but I disagree with yours. I hold no gruge for buying a 360 which, by the way, has not crapped out on me since launch...and neither has the one my brother got last november. DJ's right, warranties are a good safety net, but who wants to give microsoft your hard drive and loose all your saved games? It's also ridiculous to have 11 people disagree with DJ's comment, just because he's DJ.

I sppose you're right, but the PS logo with a 3 behind it, I would expect it sell like crazy, especially at launch. I think the bad press has alot to do with it.
