About whether or not Mass Effect and Too Human will be system sellers...
Don't forget, both games wills till get advertising when they're released. With Too Human, the developers want Hollywood level production values, plus the fact that it's going to be published by Microsoft, so I think they'll crank up the hype machine. And there is definatly going to be a demo of Too Human.
That vid looks fake.
There is no dount that these screens look awesome. I haven't played Kameo or any Ratchet and Clanks games, but if I were to go by the screen shots posted in this news article, and the other screens of Kameo...I'll say they look equal for now. R & C certainly looks smoother, but again, it seems to lack detailed textures (I know hat I'm going to hear...ut's meant to be cartoony, yada yada...) and some parts look awefull (the grass). Kameo looks good all round.
Still, awsom...
And once the PS4/XBox Universe are classified as "PCs" We'll have the Wii 2...
This is suppose to be comparing graphics (models and textures). Why are people making excuses for MGS saying it has better art direction? Yes, I personally like the MGS art direction - I always have - and I think it's better than Crysis from what I've seen so far. But the simple truth is, Crysis is graphically better than MGS4. The mirky look does well to hide the fact that it doesn't have Crysis's detail. Even if it is based in the middle east, it could still be alot sharper.
E3 2006 Drakes Fortune's trailer was CGI, although I believe these pics are in-game scans. MGS wasn't "CGI" but the last in-game footage was far from the trailers.
Based on UK revenues in 2006 you see. We don't dig that Japanesse crap (j/k)
I wouldn't say it was over hyped, only that it was hyped the wrong way
(e.g. Covenant blowing up buildings? I don't think so...)
I've always said, if you want a Blu-Ray player, wireless connectivity, next gen games e.t.c. then the PS3 is the one to get. Personally, I want next gen games and Halo 3.
Holy fUK! Trade in my 360 - which I already paid £300 for - to buy a PS3 - for another £250? £550? Without any games, extra controls e.t.c... talk about rip off...give me a 360 Elite anyday.
^^ Keep moaning, your going to have ALOT of them on the PS3 too.
This looks interesting though, but I think I've had one WW2 game too many. I would have prefered to try this to Call of Duty 3 as it looks like it could be better but I think I'll wait for Hells Highway, which looks alot different to either game. AND it's coming out this summer...too many good games this summer...
Geez, like I need another reason to keep playing Gears...
!?
That's not good enough Bungie. If Halo 3 doesn't have 2 player online campaign co-op, I will sh!t on the disc and send it back to you!
^^ Yeah, but we should still welcome change. I think having no respawns made a very interesting dynamic in GOW multiplayer (starting both team at opposite ends and having thme meet in the middle). It'll be interesting to see how they implement the respawning.
Why should the exact sales number of consoles concern us? So what if the PS3 outsells the 360/vise versa? It doesn't affect what games I play.
'Cose the PS3 aint got Halo 3...
Damn! I chose an Asian chick in KOTOR 2 and recreated her in Oblivion!
Seriously Microsft, wait and see? That's not how you make things an industry standard. I'm sure Nintendo didn't "wait and see" to see if players would prefer the joypad to the joystick. Ofcourse it may fail, that's taking risks: sometimes it pays off.
But heck, I don't own a multi-billion dollar business, so maybe they know best. And to tell you the truth, I still prefer the good ol' control pad to anything motion sensitive, but I would be curious to see what Micr...
I can't help it...it's coming...I can't hold it back...must...fight...it...noo oooo...
Maybe they couldn't afford the games after they brought the console!
Gah! Sorry...
You live in the UK...cool.
I've seen a couple of these "This is Living" adds on TV. I don't watch TV much though: too busy on my 360.
