How can the game be pushed back? When was it going to be released in the first place? If it's coming out November the 1st, then you could argue that it's been pushed FORWARD.

It isn't a 360.5, you'd be expecting alot more from it. It's 360 Elite, because it's still an XBox 360.

How can anyone be disappointed? Bioware never said what month the game would ship, and considering how long it seems to be taking, we should be happy we now have the month pinned down. I just pray that Halo 3 is November and not earlier, so I can still have time for these other games. The Darkness, then Forza, the Bioshock, then Mass Effect, then GTA 4, then Halo 3...perfect.
Microsft said themselves this is a long term investment. Upstaging Sony's immense brand recognition, never was going to be easy.
Just model the gore and look on Gears of War. If they actually make the game serious, I may get back into it.

And where did you get that from? Any numbers? Your not comparing assumed world wide sales of the PS3 to US sales of the 360? Tut, tut.
Face the facts, regardless of 360 sales, the almighty Playstation 3 should be selling much better...
Yeah, most people who buy the PS2 do so because they want the cheaper console.
So if Sony discontinued the PS2, they would go for the next cheapest thing, which is the Wii. And if the Wii is hard to get hold off, they get the 360. That's why Sony wouldn't want to end the PS2 to help the PS3. Smart thing in my view.
PS2 has a larger install base (supposedly 100 million, compared to the 360's 10 million) so it would be a disgace if any next-gen game outsells PS2 software...and the 360 does when major games get released (Gears of War, Crackdown.)
I want a lower price for the PS3. I couldn't give a toss about old-gen PS2 games.
