I agree, artists and entertainers want to appeal to as many people as possible.
O...K...Do you have a link for this information?
Until we get internet speeds in gigabytes, we will always have lag. That's why the developers don't want to include online play. I don't think anybody is blaming PSN or Live.
fanboy's are hurting your personal views, not the industry. Brand loyalty is hurting the industry.
But yeah, fanboys are bringing this site down. Just look at the examples you gave...I would happily recommend Oblivion to anyone with a PS3, but MS fanboy's say stuff like "it's only better because it's taken another year of development" e.t.c. And then there's Devil May Cry, which was at first on every Sony's fanboy's "games that pwn the 360" list. Now, it...
I have to admit, I did have some doubts about whether the game will really look as good as the announcement trailer...and come to think of it, I remember thinking at first that the announcement trailer, wasn't as good as what I was expecting.
Not that that has got me worried or anything. People are fans of the gameplay, not the visuals.
Despite that, and despite being somewhat annoyed at all the spoilers from the video leaks, I am more confident in the game than...
Where's Halo?
Too many minor spoilers. bungie really need to do something now.
"Be Rid of Handicapped Characters: Unless a character is bound to a wheelchair and/or has no arms, there is no excuse for them not to be able to jump, climb or swim. It would be better if a developer turned an ocean into lava or built ultra high fences - whatever is believable within the game world - just as long as we are not expected to believe an elite soldier can’t get over a knee-high wall."
Sorry Gears of War.
I want to cut enemies in half and impale them onto walls. Go Ninja Gaiden 2!
I think to just say "gamers don't want 100hrs gameplay" is wrong. Now, I don't want to SPEND 100 hrs on certain games, specifically when that games involves me having to replay a level over and over again because the developers and stingy with their savepoints. A good example is Dead Rising. Playing a game for 12 hours to get one achievement, and then dying, almost accidently, and having all that time wasted. I don't mind if a game is hard, because then it makes it more rewardin...
Funny how most people seem to agree. I do. I believed the Wii would be good fun, until I played it at my friends house. I was not impressed. He eventually got bored of the Wii, and now he's sold it and owns a PS3 (on top of a 360). And after having a look at the PS3, although I still prefer the 360, I simply can't imagine being appealed by the Wii.
My greatest fear for the Wii is that it's going to turn into another Nintendo console. The Gamecube's main problem most peopl...
Do you live in Japan?
There are just as many bullsh!t comments made about the 360. It's called fanboyism, or in this case, propaganda.
I brought Crackdwon for Crackdown, and I have 900 points on it...so neh!
That's because there's "nothing spectacular" about the tilt function.
Interesting reading. A good article.
@Bhai
So, Capcom say DMC4 will be indentical on both systems and Sony fanboys take it to mean the PS3 version will be downgraded so it can be ported to the 360...
Here's an idea, why don't Capcom make the downgraded 360 version, and add all they can for the PS3 version? Maybe it's because they can't. because they don't want to invest 100s of man hours and millions of dollars just so they can stick 1080p on the back of the game case. And because it's so easy, an...
wrong post.
The PS3 version looks like it wasn't captured well.
@Bladestar
From what I hear, the 360 version won't have online either, because Sega don't want people to play Virtua Fighter with lag. That's why i won't be bothering with this game.
I don't know much about HDMI and Wi-Fi implementation, but if what he says is true about the those being included for practially free (somehow I doubt it) then that's a bummer.
I do feel that Microsoft need urgent about making their console cheaper, and resolving hardware issues. They've got an advantage because of the PS3's high price, but it feels like Microsoft have in turn become complacent and haven't jumped on that opportunity. I'll have to wait and see the price differ...
