That list is dog s#it. Firstly, I don't think any COD game has ever won GOTY so it obviously isn't going to measure up if that what you're going by. And as has been proven time and time again, GOTY has nothing to do with which game sells the most.
Secondly: Mass Efffect 3 as number 1? REALLY? I doubt it. I own a 360 and I won't be getting Mass Effect 3.
Without a doubt Skyrim should be the most anticipated game this holiday. I don't ...
If it's any consolation Cliffy, I'd rather play Gears 3 multiplayer than Halo Reach multiplayer...
I wasn't a big fan of Gears 2, but I loved the Gears 3 beta. Got a bit boring after a while, but I'm guessing that will be fix once we have more than 3 maps to play and a whole load of 10 year olds to shoot.
Gears 1 is still the king though.
It's amazing seeing all the self-righteous commentors on here. Fact is Cliffy B has achieved more creatively than most people on here will achieve in their entire lifetime :/
There is nothing "realistic" about COD, so It's perfectly fine to keep it :) I should point out that if you made a TRULY realistic war game, the sniper would be camping a mile away, and you'd be lucky enough to figure out where he is before you're dead...you up for that?
I don't understand how a "noob" can do it when even I can't. What is your definition of a noob? If you give the pad to your mum, do you think she'll be able to do it and get kills?
I think what you mean by noobs is people who have skill but you just can't admit to yourself that they're better than you.
I rarely get killed by quick scoping in MW2 and if I did, I've never realised he's quick scoping, I just accept that ...
Wow, 2 disagrees? Either kids who don't know what "WW3" stands for or Black Ops fans...if it's either one of those you should be shot.
Not gona lie, that's a pretty exciting trailer. I like the whole "WW3" premise. Does look dated, but honestly, ALL COD games look the same (MW was a marginal step up in the series, Black Ops doesn't count 'cose it was a down grade).
I'm still cautiously optimistic, but at the current price I'll probably buy it second hand, just to shaft Activision up the bum, plus, Skrim is out the day after so no love for MW3 for at least 2 weeks. We'll se...
@Tito
Stop talking garbage. How many discs is Marvel vs Capcom? 1 disc right? So first you say he opened it and it was a blank CD and in the same sentence you also say it was another game?
D*ck head.
That's the one thing that let's it down. As cool as it is to simulate the stomping, the camera shake makes it look anooying and twitchy and seems like a bug without the audio.
That's because custom users don't know how to optimise, and if MM restricted the number of textures on screen e.t.c. to help the performance, creators would moan that there's too many restrictions.
1. Reduce the power of the Retro Lancer.
2. Lower the power of the Retro Lancer.
3. Decrease the power of the Retro Lancer.
4. Reduce the hit damage of the Retro Lancer.
5. Make the Retro Lancer less powerfull.
6. Remove the Retro Lancer.
It switches between the Hammer and the Oneshot per round. The Mortar however is completely gone, replaced by another hammer of damn for BOTH rounds.
It's really bad. I felt it was quite balance with Mortar vs Oneshot. But when the hammer spawns at the oneshot position, then basically whoever gets there first wins the round for his/her team. You just camp it and kill the enemy at the other side of the map while they're busy with you team mates. And even when you ...
Ok then, have a look at my comment near the top.
Agreed. while it's obviously evident that Microsoft aren't good at managing their investments (Rare for example...) it's a bit of a leap in logic so say that Sony "on the other hand" have retained their fanbase despite their troubles...so what about the MS fanbase? I don't see any them abadoning Microsoft because "Link Exchange" shutdown :p
Funny thing is, Microsoft are still the ones making profit, unlike Sony. Arguable Microsoft's...
"Silly writer is silly"
Oh, yeah, that gives me complete confidence in your opinion :/
Sorry to say this, but it IS Sony's fault to some degree. They didn't encrypt peoples card details properly. Did you guys not read the log of the hackers? The very thing they talked about (credit card info not being encrypted) was a news article on this site some weeks ago.
lol. It's an official featurette that has a 3 second clip of a press conference where they're demoing Skyrim on a half obscurred TV. And it STILL gets top story. THATS how anticipated this game is...
@Captain Obvious
What?Exactly how dumb are you???
Firstly, OFCOURSE he's going to donate to a campaign that supports the same cause the people donated money to him for. Would it be fair if Hotz donated to the cat shelter?
Secondly, I don't see how he's taking the credit when he actually said it's the money he received from peoples donations :/
Thirdly, ofcourse he's going to donate to a group to g...
Well, y'know, an era where the publishers aren't greedy and don't get 90% of the profit :)
Funnily enough, some of those examples you gave look simular to each other...
