But he DIDN'T admit he was wrong. He should have said "ok, I was talking out my arse, don't know why I said that, e.t.c." instead he's being defensive by playing the opinion card. His opinion isn't the issue, we all know we are all entitled to opinions. And opinions are not 100% backed up by facts, if an opinion can be verified by facts, then it's no longer an opinion, it's a STATEMENT.

Exactly. Well said.

@Abash: Dude! Don't hate on tentonsoftube for stating the obvious. The obvious doesn't come to most people on this site.

20 agrees, 20 disagrees...for the first time in a long while, I'm genuinly suprised :O

Here's a revolutionary concept for you: some people take interest in countries and cultures other than their own.

I'm sorry, but Halo has gotten a little stale recently. At least Halo Reach did. Halo CE was, and still is, in my opinion, the best game ever made. I enjoyed all the other Halo games even though they were massive let downs compared to Halo CE. Even when people said ODST was more of the same, I disagreed, I still enjoyed it. But Halo Reach: nah. I enjoyed it, and it is definitely a AAA game, but just felt like an extention of ODST, which was in itself an extention of Halo 3, which was...

Some unlocks are easy, others are hard, because they want to reward people who play the game almost everyday. That makes sense to me. Making all the unlocks easier? Then EVERYONE can unlock them, then hardcore players moan that all the unlocks are too easy...You only want the unlock to be easier because you don't have it, so it has value: if they become too easy then you'll stop caring, that's why they made the unlocks hard in the first place.

Just admit to y...

Here's the answer: people are ignorant.

Science starts from theories. A theory is a leap of logic without sciencific basis; until it is "proven".

There is faith in science and science in faith. Humans just find it easier to pick on side.

It's statistically proven that people of faith are happier then those without. Isn't that a good enough reason to let someone believe?

Athiests argue that God was an idea early humans used to find comfort in death. Well, maybe not all of us have evolved pass that point yet: maybe some of us still need that comfort in order to live. Maybe we're just not as evolved as we like to think we are.

Assuming the reality in which God does exist:

Has God killed anyone for making a video game/movie/painting with Him in it? No? Then he blatantly doesn't care whether He's in your game or not.

Assuming God doesn't exist:

What then is the difference between God and a dragon in a video game? Neither exist, neither can do any harm. What's this you say? "But real-world war have been fought over beliefs in God, not dragons....

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's your perception of life that's making you depressed, not life itself. Did the cavemen have a global economy? Nope. Yet they lived and survived. Don't rely on people (why should you look to them to sort your issues out when they can't even sort their own?) or the government. Make the most of whatever you have.

People who blame their depression on "life" sound just as bad as journalists blaming video games. Yo...

I think quite a few gamers have a simular story. I don't think I'd ever have over come my social fears without meeting fellow gamers online.

Doesn't mean all gamers have issues, games make people happy, and that attracts different people for different reasons.

^^ Simply and elegantly put. Well said.

More poeple play games every year. So yes, there are more poeple who like multiplayer games now. That doesn't mean gamers don't like the single player experience Things will change only if people change. If you still want single player games to exist, then keeping spending $$$ on them. It's the only thing publishers care about rihgt?

Focus testers are suppose to be clueless dummy! A the idea of "focus testing" something is to see how new, inexperienced people react to the product.

Ideally, focus testing is for stuff like gameplay difficulty and controls: basically to see how quick, long or difficult it is for a brand new player to learn and adapt to the game. Of course that's what focus testing is SUPPOSE to be for, but alot of devs and pubs these days think it's a magic wand that wi...

I agree, if he asks for to be forgiven and shows remorse, he should get along with his life. I hope he hasn't then because I have to admit this article is a little too amusing and bizarre. I'd quite like to see him kicked off dashboard advertisements, power to the people e.t.c. but mostly 'cose I just don't want to see his ugly mug on my XBox.

If games as an art-form are suppose to allow freedom of speech, then they should be able to teach, preach, indoctrinate, ridicule, blaspheme, debate, refer, analyze, expose, e.t.c. any type of religious belief.
