The biggest advantage is quite simply the games that can only be found on Sony's system.
I can't wait to try it out on Farpoint.
Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, NEIR Automata, Nioh, Wild, TLG, God of War, Death Stranding, Spider Man, Gravity Rush 2, Persona 5, Final Fantasy XV, Detroit: Become Human, Mass Effect Andromeda, Yakuza 0 and 6, What Remains of Edith Finch, RE7 just to name a few that I'm just gonna have to play.
One of my son's is very prone to motion sickness in cars and in boats but he hasn't experienced any issues on PSVR. Our cousin has one and we've been playing it all weekend and like I said Logan didn't have any problems other than not wanting to share it.
Great news!
Very true.
Man do I love the original trilogy! Especially part 2 Kintaro was a Shokan beast. I also enjoyed Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. You just can't have a MK game without Scorpion.
I agree with you 100% @Muzilkguy. I love these horror titles that have come along in the past few years from Amnesia to Soma, Outlast and so fourth. I'm also with you on enjoying what we have. I hear a lot of gamers complaining about the current state of video games but I have to tell ya I'm having the time of my life. Way back in the early 80's when I was playing Super Mario Bros I never imagined the game worlds that I would be visiting today. I say enjoy the ride and to quote Ch...
That's cool as they are pretty far along in the development process. It would have been terrifying in VR but I enjoyed the first Outlast and from the looks of this one I'm gonna be in horror heaven.
Considering I have a Samsung UN65KS8000 and I game on PS4 and I have a Pro pre ordered I would say "yes" it's for me. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm looking forward to playing it as I enjoyed the 2013 reboot. So much so I bought it twice once on PS3 and then again on PS4. Seeing as how much I've supported this series and I've had plenty of time to decide that I'll be getting it when it's discounted.
You never can tell what's gonna happen but I'm with you on not seeing too much. Like I said I saw all I needed to see and that short demo was enough to keep me interested.
This game had my interest the moment I first saw it. Glad to hear it's up to par. When I get PSVR next year I'll be getting this, Farpoint and Robinson the Journey to get me started.
I really only needed to see the initial trailer to know it's a day one purchase for me.
I missed out on the initial release but when the Director's Cut hit I picked it up and fell in love. I think I loved the RE2 demo as much as the game.
There's room for both in my world but if I'm honest I'm partial to the Uncharted series. I just love the characters and I really enjoy Nathan's quirks. My wife isn't even a gamer but she loves to watch me play the Uncharted series. She also loved watching me play The Last of Us. I did enjoy the Tomb Raider reboot. I got it on PS3 and then again on PS4. I will get Rise when it drops in price as I'm sure it is a great game. So don't sell yourself short and miss out o...
My cousin is a long time Xbox fan and when The Last of Us hit the PS3 I told him about it but he just kinda blew me off. Well this last weekend he said he finally played it on a friends PS4 and he said he couldn't put it down. He said it was one of the most amazing games he's ever played. He said he will be getting a PS4 slim and is looking forward to the other Sony exclusives.
I'm hopeful for the tech and plan on getting one at the first of the year.
The art direction, the game design and the emotional connection between the boy and Trico. Oh and the fact that I loved Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Did I mention it looks breathtaking?
Now that's a remaster.
