That's the exact reason. it was either 499 with 4k Blu ray or 399 without it obviously Sony did the math and realized pissing off the few videophiles was worth the reward of a 399 pro console.i know for a fact Sony wouldn't have just made a rash decision to not include a 4k Blu ray player. Either way tflops is a stupid way to measure how powerful a gpu is. Even if that oc didn't make the ps4 gpu 5.5 tflops it still would add extra fps and more wiggle room for devs. Faster gpu can't hurt. @sniper yeah seems like alot of ms PC ports are gonna suffer from cpu bottlenecks and 60 fps problems. I heard even the Titan x Pascal is having trouble with Forza. If ms expects decent PC sales they really need to implement some sort of quality control before they release the PC version of their console exclusives. Ms may get away with 30fps on consoles but on PC if you can't make 60fps work on a Titan x p you mise well just not even try.
