The true fault lies with Sony for their design of the PS3. How is it the devs fault that the PS3 has a different architecture than anything else? How long did it take Sonys own in house devs to come up with games that look better than third party games, or with useable tools for PS3 development? Who is at fault for that? The "devs"?
It would also hinder game development. Learning how to use a new engine properly takes time. Learning anything new takes time. Comparisons can be drawn to the new architecture of the PS3 and how long it took, even for developers who are dedicated to the one platform, to get a handle on how to use it properly.

The experience was way better on the way more powerful Xbox. It really was bad on the weak PS2. It almost seemed like a different game.
It's been explained many times. I'll try one more time because I need the practice typing. Just like the PS2 last generation, the 360 hardware sucks and the games rock. The major differences between the 360 and PS2 in this context, 3 year warranty and Xbox Live.
Add to that PS3 exclusives mostly suck, majority of multiplats run better on 360 and the still to high price and you get a choice for the 360.

I hope the PS3 fails so hard at $299 that they have to drop it again before Christmas. At $199 the PS3 is almost worth it. When I factor in the adapter for the 360 pad, I'd have to see a bundle of two good games to justify it. I did state that $250 was my price point at one time, but I've revised it back to my original buy price. Come on PS3, you can fail. I know you can!

PS3 sucks and so do it's exclusives. It's not really a bad system. The games aren't bad. They just aren't great. Definitely not worth the price of the PS3 at launch or even now. Therefore the PS3 sucks! Simple really.
