After playing the single player on hard and quite a few online matches...I can say that I feel like the game is GOTY 95% likely.

I think that this was announced as early as it was due to Halloween being a week away from launch. They probably figured that it would make the game look THAT much more appealing due to creepy Halloween.
That being said - we all know that Dev's these days factor DLC into the mix when launch titles. It's a business, and the profit they make from DLC is likely far more than the amount they get from disc sales.

I have the realtriggers - they are truly a must have! Not that your fingers slide off the controllers R2/L2....but it just feels right!
Plus I swear my breaking in racing games is better.

I've been thinking about this for awhile. Casual gamers - which are really just people who prioritize their gaming differently than you or I...they buy maybe 5 titles in the entirety of their console ownership. This is Wii's issue...parents might buy a few titles, the kids buy a few more. If they are really interested in gaming beyond the social party atmosphere - they almost certainly go 360 or PS3.

I'm a huge fan of story driven actioners. I have played all Ninja Gaiden's (NES included!)...I have pre-ordered and paid in full Darksiders, Dante's Inferno, GoW Collection & Gow3.
These are the games I like most - some adventuring with my action!

I'm curious about the resolution in Tekken 6 for PS3.
It's the version I'm paid for already.
So...as i understand it the PS3 is the lead platform. And we know that the PS3 CAN and HAS done superior graphics to the 360. So what's the issue? Is Namco hurting for resources? I'm not really concerned - Soul Calibur 4 looked great to me in 720p, 50" gaming.
But my techy mind is very interested in Capcom's MT Framework 2.0....it dynamically changes resolution bet...

Edge Mag is very bias - skewed heavily against PS3. I in no way would be surprised if they wrote that article in a preemptive insult to PS3 when it doesn't show or shows poorly.

I was once not long ago a 360 faboi. I was the first person to hammer ps3 for any and all faults. Then as time went on...Sony stopped being so arrogant. Or at least stopped advertising it! Sony started to get the exclusive games gamers wanted. Meanwhile, 360 was going strong but took little chances - save the JRPG thing in land of the rising sun.
I watched as 360 devs like Too Human's or Gears or even recently Turn 10's Forza's leader.....they all seem awfully mouthy and a little...
I love the demo! graphics aren't everything - but they sure help with immersion. Some games you don't care to "know" you are gaming. Other games (Fps, adventure, some rpg's) it's nice to get lost in the game.
(and no I'm not talking about complete neglect of reality.)

I think the real issue here is marketing. The product has to back up what the marketing hype is pushing.
But in successive years marketing will be needed but the product can be expected to not be "fresh". But marketing needs to be vast and invasive.

I've played 360 version path of the warrior to completion.
I'm getting PS3 version day 1.
Their honestly is so much MORE in this demo that it blows my mind. Though with the extra dev time...i'm not surprised.
I play in 720p - and the lighting, textures and speed is astounding in the PS3 demo. I am also very pleased that Ayane feels fully fleshed out as a alternate character - with her own story!

I'm a bit confused. I play a lot of racers - I have Dirt 2 and NFS: Shift. I like Forza and GT but I am not into the Sim aspect of racing...other than simple buying upgrades (like equiping an RPG character LOL).
So, I'm reading everyone's response here and I'm totally disconnected. I love HFS:Shift! I've never played in co@kpit before - but NFS just feels right! I play with a controller and have no issues at all with the controls or lag...lag? Wtf? none of that on PS3.
This game is only hard as you aren't patient. It took me 80+hrs the first run - and I died maybe 20 times. Not including them damn black phantoms! LOL
But after sooo much time on this amazing game...I think a lot of gamers won't be able to get past the necessary grinding - as it's more necessary in this game than any RPG I've ever played. I've played a lot!
The hardcore will love it - but if games are about making money from a business view...then they should have do...
Just an FYI to IGN - You can install 4GB to the PS3....i was watching a guy play an leaked copy on justin.tv and the load times that this game seems to have lost .02pts (which by the way is nothing, geez), these load times seemed non existent to me. It was lightning fast!
I'm sure a full install on the 360 is super fast too.
