If I don't get some free system for my digital stuff....I won't ever buy digital again.
And that's another reason digital future is going to be difficult. Devs will have to create new games of existing ips. Rather than releasing modified remixes of last gen digital games. I'm not buying journey again with only a new lick of paint!
Until Internet providers universally make a contract with game/entertainment makers like Sony or MS....all digital future will not happen.
Many markets in places you'd think would be totally covered, still have bandwidth caps and infrastructures that can't handle downloads at 20gbs let alone 50 gb's like the new blurays in ps4/720.
If anything...I think MS was skewing hard towards casuals anyways. I think they see wiiU as bait. MS will try and take Ninnys market....and I bet they'll pull it off in the long run.
Sony sticking to mostly hardcore gaming is where it's at for me. They have the ips, amazing, reliable hardware and being 1st is always better than the guy who copies your ideas.

One....anything they do that is related to Sony's presentation will look contrived, coping and try hardish.

I used to love Halo....but it started feeling too cartoony. COD is fun but tired and if it wasn't for the community (any hour of the day thousands are playing....so finding matches is near instant), I could do without.
Crysis 3 feels like a good mix of the two. Art isn't as creative as I'd like. But it's far from bad.
I do love the hunt mp mode too. Cod infection with way better mechanics.
I've only tried mp. But it's amazing! Really deep and gorgeous!
