Well, i can't speak for others but last year,someone got hold of my bank details and tried to make some purchases online. My bank blocked the transactions worth £400 and contacted me immediately to verify if i was the one.
They also bought over £100 worth of games on xbox live. I contacted Microsoft, and they gave me a refund immediately.
Would it have made a difference if one was called Horizong and the other Forza Motorsport?
To be honest i do not blame Phill Spencer for not shouting from the top of the roof tops about DX12 gains on X1 because it will wnd up coming to bite him in the ass.
The truth is that, i believe at the time of him making that statement, he really did not know. Some game engines currently ab=vailable even if updated may not see a boost, some could see as little as 5% and some like Project Cars could see up to 30%.

Why was Forza Horizon 2 and Scalebound omited from the list? Those were huge announcements in my opinion and FH2 released last year and lived up to and exceeded expectations.
I would like to see a sim or arcade/sim that would not only concentrate on the driving (that has been done to death and no shortage of good ones out there) but will also concentrate on what it is to go from a rookie driver to a team owner.
Whenever i watch F1, i dont only watch theraces but love to watch the interviews with drivers team owners and the overall business behind the racing so would love the team owner aspect incorperated.

I agree with you but i think that the biggest problem is that developers seem to be playing it safe. I don't know whose fault it is, maybe it is us gamers buying the same old yearly games like COD and Assasins Creed over and over again.
But i still think that deveoplers should use the superior hardware of these consoles not only for graphics but to expand their creative vision to create better and more immersive games.

For me, the biggest problem i am facing this gen - and this applies to both Microsoft and Sony - is that there has not been any defining game released that makes you say 'now that is why i bought this system'. I am talking about games that are not just great in looks, but innovate in areas of story, A.I and gameplay.

I completely agree. In most cases, developers will say that the reason for the delay is to add more polish to the final product but i believe that in most cases, that is never the case and it usually is to fit better into their financial calendar.
Also, other reasons can pop up like lead developer leaving, legal issues etc that may hault production that we may never know. Just look at Too Human as an example of a game delayed and still did not deliver.
