Tekken 6 is better than 4. T4 had hit-boxing issues, uneven environments that were problematic, and lets not forget infinite wall carries
As a tekken fan myself, I disliked it because it took too long to come home to consoles, and just didn't seem like much of a step up after T5:DR.
Well I didn't play ODST or Reach, but with Halo 2 and 3 there were virtually no balancing issues in gameplay, or matchmaking problems. Curious as to the disagrees, could someone elaborate on the problems?
Btw I played Halo 1 on the PC years ago as well, but I remember the netcode was screwy and you had to shoot ahead of where the other player was. In wasn't laggy, but Gearbox never fixed it.
"No multiplayer game has ever released free of problems especially on consoles"
Halo's multiplayer has been mostly problem free with each of their releases
"The fact that Crytek wanted to imitate the successful, online multiplayer formula of Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops was extremely exciting for Crysis fans."
Please don't confuse 'Crysis fans' with 'console fans who planned on buying Crysis 2.' No one wants to play an imitation of Call of Duty, when you can just play Call of Duty and be done with it.
The first Crysis took a great mix of Battlefield and Counterstrike elements, th...
...such as:
why would they need to? You won't be able to play online which is where the bulk of the game is.
@jetlian? are you crazy? Tekken Tag on PS2 looked MILES better than the arcade cabinet. You clearly didn't play tekken tag on both because it's night and day differences. Do a little research before you spout bs next time, okay?
@kleptic I wouldn't call the multiplayer of Crysis 1 stripped down, considering Crysis 2's multiplayer was a carbon copy of Call of Duty
The original TTT was released in 2001; the netcode required to play a fighting game online didn't exist yet, let alone console online gaming (outside the dreamcast, which was 56k). There was still a big arcade following for fighting games back then as well.
And the most played Tekken would actually be T5
Problem is, Halo wars was garbage.
Crysis
Interesting, TTT2's native resolution is lower than Tekken 6's, yet the game sports much better environments and modeling of characters.
I'm sure they'll be optimized to work before or when the game's released. Blizzard games always scale to support low to high specs. I doubt if you can play Halo: Combat Evolved for PC you can't play D3.
Excellent news, I expect a ton of info to roll in through the next couple of days
I don't think MS would be willing to release a proprietary disc format solely for the 360, especially not as an external drive. That would be a very unwise business decision.
It's funny cause, I've raced around tracks in real life, and compared to my driving in GT5, it's actually relatively similar. When you've gained experience in track racing, you'll be more confident in your driving abilities, but you also won't take unnecessary risks. I guess it resonates over toward driving in racing sims as well, as I usually never worry about crashing, and hardly ever do, in GT5.
But you still might be right, lap times in GT5 are fas...
"You know I really would have been behind DICE but there arrogance and the hype which it will never be able to live up to disgusts me. "
DICE isn't hyping up Battlefield. It's EA's pr.
I'm not saying I don't want the game looking good now, because I do, but I want an engine that has room for potential with newer and better hardware. BF3, much like the BF2, is a game that will be played for years until the sequel comes around. I'd like the game to not only look good now, but keep up with the best in years to come. If you played BF2, you'd know that BF2 from '05 looks nothing like BF2 on an '08+ spec. I guarantee you, the differences are much more than...
well said man heheh
