couldn't have said it better nor agree more. btw why o why coined: in between game category (IBG)
P.S. as stated in a previous post this is one of the main reasons I feel psn is better than live. (no flame intended)
"Lose: to come to be without (something in one's possession or care), through accident, theft, etc., so that there is little or no prospect of recovery" Dictionary.com
So if you download something, and your HDD is wiped clean, or if someone steals it ("it" being the PS3); then you have lost it.
But apparently you've already lost it. So tell me, what are the "perks to owning" you. (Bubbles?)
...with the download, if you lose the movie (stolen, deleted, etc) you get 1 re-download: replacing the lost movie.
With a physical disc, if you lose the movie (lose, stolen, broken etc) what do you get: ..., ... huh ... exactly.
On the bright side, all movies are half off
where did you hear it would be $30
so what would you rating would you say? or are you just trolling.
how can you disagree? there is nothing to disagree with.
The non fanboy thing to do would have been to reply to the comment with what parts you didn't agree with.
I bet it was the same person that disagreed with my post.
There's nothing to disagree with.
PlayStation 3 owners should be very happy (no flame intended).
...they implemented psn games directly into home.
Example 1: seeing that HVBowling didn't have online multiplayer (which was stupid. pretty good game though), they could/should make it where HVB was the official bowling. That way people could see you in action, which would add tremendously to community aspect. you could become a celebrity of sorts. They should also allow you to create teams and participate in tournaments (for prizes).
I know I mentioned this before b...
...to me, psn (specifically the store vs the arcade) is better now. Although Sony is doing some slacking, the ideas that they have/are implemented/ing make it better.
1. The psn (playstion period)is offering exclusive experiences through original IPs such Pain, CaC, SupRubDub (very good game), and echocrome, just to name a few.
2.With games like warhawk, gtp and socom confrontations you can purchase full game (not just bitsize) experiences from your couch. With sir...
Peter Moore is not so much an xbot (though he is)than a Sony Hater.
He always has nothing but bad things to say about the PS3, and he is always saying them.
I wouldn't be surprised if it came out that part of his reasoning for getting with Microsoft was as revenge against Sony (cause of dreamcast)...
you are right it is soooo obvious that Peter Moore is still salty about about the whole dreamcast thing(dreamcast...you know, that white gaming system that was rushed to market about a year before the upcoming sony system, suffering from a lot of hardware malfunctioning issues... no, not the 360). Peter Moore is also the guy that said that not only was Sony lying about being able to achieve 1080p, but that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to make 1080p games, and that Sony would definitely not have any ...
hey maybe they use dvd as the standard drive on the 720 (compression will be great in 2010), license the sims2 tech for a 720 add-on, and then tell the customers "sure baby, I'll call you"
This will probably happen just after they tell 360 owners that they will no longer support the 360.
1. Trophies should be in-game and add to the story and/or replay value.
example 1: if get you 30 head-shots, you would be asked to do basic sniper missions, 75 head-shots advanced missions etc.
example 2: if you earn a "medal" not only should the medals be visible but you should also be referred to and/or treated as if you have those medals. i.e. privileged info/access ect.
2. Trophies gained should not be mandatory but extras that enhance and/...
...like the uncharted self-implemented trophy system.
In mid-post I just thought of some wonderful trophy ideas.
I'll post in openzone (less post). Pleas Read Really Cool
...a lot times people make comments about the original killzone, despite the fact that they themselves haven't even played it. I personally really like killzone (as almost anyone who actually played the game would), just ask Cliffy B *gears sprint*. The single player was (looked and played)good. The Multiplayer had a great variety of gameplay modes, some of which I still haven't seen again. Also each weapon in the game was uniquely significant and relevant, and not just a different look and r...
First of all, great show. (someone pm me the time listing for the podcast). Here are my issues though.
Yes,PS3 is better (off it's gaming merits alone, especially considering everything outside of gaming). I am not a fanboy, though I do have a little crush on Sony, as well as, a dislike for the MS. Let me tell you why though.
The main/most important reason for this is (concerning ps3 and 360), bluray. Minus the fact that it is the standard hd medium format, but the d...
especially considering it's competition is just a DVD player that can play video games.
where are the screenshots?
...the Illuminati will be the real winners (as they always are).
*on topic*
If LBP releases early, there will be a flurry of ads coming
Does anyone know if LBP will have that youtube implementation they were talking about a while ago?
That would be perfect.
