A dedicated portable gaming device is suicide now a days. Things dont stay the same; they change. I am a hard core gamer and have been forever but I love my ipad and there are games that play better with out buttons so It goes both ways... My nephew has barely touched his 3Ds since I got my ipad. I am buying him the 7 in if they announce it and then its a wrap for mario. Scribblenauts on 3ds $20-40... Got a remixed version on ipad for .99.

I dont think MS ever said it was a Kinect Only browser; that would severely limit their user base.

I am and have always been a hardcore gamer but I welcome all the additional apps and services on the Xbox. I dont even use a cable box anymore. The 360 is my one stop shop. I love how I can flip from video apps to tv to music to battlefield 3... Stay the course MS... Great Job!!!!

You know as much as I love games I do agree to a certain extent. There are much better things we can do with our time than sit in front of the boob tube and spend hours upon hours gaming. Imagine if we spent some of that time reading, educating ourselves or helping others. I love games just like the next guy but I beat myself up for not spending my time a litte bit wiser.
If the hardware is exceptional then that is a yes. The hardcore community or most of it excluding the fan boys will flock to new tech in a minute if its really high end. For the first time in years I am excited for Nintendo's E3 showing.
I think its real, the guys head in front of video would have made it hard to fake the screen. Maybe some type of prep before E3 or round table discussion. I don't know about the controller though.
Either way, I didn't buy a wii but still respect Nintendo as trend setters. They started the whole 3D gaming revolution with Mario and motion control with the wii. They are always pushing the envelope. If this system has way better specs than current consoles then Nintendo m...
