Sony has a patent to do the same... Maybe MS will land more exclusives because the thought of developers not getting shorthanded in the after market might appeal to them. Either way as I have duly noted this will be a moot point once we go strictly digital downloads.
Guys, I think we can all agree that at some point in the future we will be at digital downloads. Once we are the point of selling game or lending it out will be a moot point. It is inevitable that this is where the industry is going.

I want to get back into sony gaming as I am strictly xbox right now. Go ahead and drop the 4 sony so you can get my business again. Hopefully gaikai offers Backward compatibilty so I can catch up on all the ps3 games ive missed.
Hopefully this is not the case and they have some new ip's which will define a new generation. Im all for seeing current gen games on new platforms but this is where we usually see developers taking some chances on new material.
If PS4 comes out before Nextbox then I will buy one and MS console as well. If Nextbox comes out first then I might not buy a PS4. Heres hoping Sony comes out first because I love new tech...This is their chance for me to invest in them again.

I only have an xbox this gen but I will change this regardless of pwer in the next gen. I purchased a wiiu for my nephew who lives with me so I can use that.I will buy a PS4 right away if it comes out first cause I love new tech. However if xbox comes out first then I will get ps3 but not right away.

Dude stop with the Xbox live cost already... Sheesh, I paid $40 for a year and got 800 free ms points along with it. That .11 cents a day not even including the ms points. I'd rather pay that for a better online experience.

Netflix and Hulu dont offer up to date movies so there would still be a need for newer content. Who knows? Again as I have stated before i cant wait until physical media is gone. MS streaming service has a sick picture and Im sure the tech will improve. Dont really care either way... If they do then they do and if not, oh well...

Xbox live and community are big part of this and that will carry them into next gen. I know 3rd spin around the corner can be tough. However all previous consoles with 3rd gen woes never had a strong online component like Xbox Live. Its almost guaranteed to sell to the 40 million live subscribers.
Next gen is almost here and everyone starts with a clean slate... honestly, who cares?
OMGosh... Enough... My family and I are having a blast with the system and all its functionality and this is coming from a hardcore Xbot! Love the system...
