They need to look 40% because as PS4 gets better so will X1. You will see no big differences this gen just like the last. Will come down to exclusives and entertainment.

The system is clearly not 40% stronger. You can run those numbers through the mill all day but the proof is in the pudding. The games... Right now they look better on MS.
If this system had 40% more power why are the games not looking 40% better :/

I 100% agree that they clearly have an advantage in the graphics department at this point. Hmmmm...wondering where this additional 40% power is going. If this was the case PS4's games would look significantly better but that is not the case. Sorry, but none of their games are showing off this theoretical number.

This is the running theme nowadays. Those expecting a huge gap in graphics will be disappointed. Both will go back and forth with groundbreaking, great looking games.

Its funny how people are going back and forth over this. Waste of time IMO. I say it now and said it all along...look at the games. Both sytems are on par. John Carmack said the same, Ill take his owrd over N4G any day.
