- the lighting is at least a billion times better than the real light that the actual sun gives off.

the damage in other "sims" just isnt real. I'm pretty sure the creator of GT said before that he doesnt want to try anything unless he thinks he can do it perfect. The game right now is perfect, i dont really care about damage. They say its comming, we'll see. But for now this is the best taste of what real race sims are supposed to be. Gawd i cant wait for the real deal next year. DROOL.

People tell me im a MS hater fanboy because i dont like the 360. I reply "i already own a MS product". I dont NEED a 360, all the xbox games id actually want to play are better on the pc, so whats the point? Besides, i dont have to pay anyone a fee to play online on my pc or ps3.

oh yea, and that game engine is kinda old now...neither game (HL2 or Portal) looks all that good in my opinion.
If i were you i'd get the fx-62. OEM at new egg(150.00), mine idles with the thermatake v-1 at 24c....and its about 2ce as fast as my old x2 3800+. Yea, the v-1 is air too! I have lots of room to overclock. And my warranty on my ram doesnt become invalid even if i OC it to 1Ghz... Anyways, my system:

When given a choice, for me, its just about any other shooter over halo. No offence to halo, or its fans. I have no personal hatred for MS or the series(except windows, why cant they IMPROVE anything....). Its just, halo is so "yawn, been there a thousand times better, done that a thousand times better" to me. Cheezy, slow, and sloppy...not my kind of game. thats all. Gawd....i hope the mod community gets as good as the first UT....OMG...the Binslayer returns!!!!
as i have been telling everyone on this damn site for months...HDTV norm is closer than you think. and HDMI and blu-ray are just getting more popular. This holiday is going to be huge for HDTV. ;-) told ya so.

Load times. The new slim has double the system memory, this cuts the load times of some games up to 50%. Dont bother argueing this with me, i KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE.
