It's not underhanded to want people to play your game, Activision are making more money than everyone else so they are doing it right, it's called business. Black Ops sold 25 million, maybe that has something to do with it having more players than Gears 3 that has only been out for a week.

If it was GOTY material it would be coming out against games like Uncharted 3 and Skyrim. Epic know it's not up to the calibre of those games so release in September when it's quiet.

I've been playing Resistance 3 online and it's one of the worst communities I've come across, they curse everytime I kill them, moan about all the weapons. This game is a unbalanced cluster f*** online, people running about cloaked with electricty guns...lol and people bitch about COD. This is much worse. But it's still enjoyable in a mad cluster f*** kinda way.

You are posting the same message in all the 8/10 review topics for this game, you seem scared. Funny to see low scores like 6/10 from Edge being dished out to this game when it was supposed to be the best thing Epic have ever done and was delayed. I always thought Cliffy B was a over rated developer, this game proves he can't compete with the Kojimas, Naught Dog, and Mikamis of the world . Maybe now he will talk less trash about the competition.
I watched a few youtube videos of the game and it looks alright, nice graphics but the usual horrible over the top character voice acting and the gameplay looks to have not changed at all. I'm expecting a lot of massive scores for this game but I think it's overhyped, Gears of war has been overtaken by Uncharted.

Codemasters have ruined the Dirt series with Gymkhana and rally races that last for all of two minutes. You sit through more loading screens and annoying characters talking rubbish between each race than you do racing. I was going to give F1 2011 a try but Dirt 3 was so piss poor I'm not going to bother. I think they spend more time on making snazzy menus than they do the actual track design , I remember when Codemasters used to make proper rally games that required skill, they were great...
I am buying a Wii in November for this and Xenoblade, I'm expecting this Zelda to be the best game of the year along with Skyrim, Dark Souls, Xenoblade and Uncharted 3. It's the biggest project Nintendo have ever worked on and took five years to make, it's going to be epic.
The practice of giving maps to people who only preorder your game is total BS, these extra maps for preorder customers should have been available to all people who buy Battlefield 3 new.

I'm betting they have left out Anti Aliasing on the PS3 and it looks like a jaggy mess like Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I own both those games on PS3 and they have more jaggies than any other game I've played this gen on PS3.

COD has changed just as much as other FPS, it adds COD Elite, new perks, new campaign, new guns, new maps.

This news isn't going to affect people who were for or against this game. If you want this game you're gonna get it, if you want MW3 you're gonna get it and nothing is going to change your mind as they are very different shooters. One is 30fps slower more tactical game, and the other is a faster paced 60fps twitch shooter. I don't know why people even argue about which is better as they are very different.
Funny how people forgive EA/Dice for all the BS they pull such as online passes and keeping the console versions hidden away from sight as much as possible, this is just another way to keep most people out of the beta.

I've enjoyed all the main RE games, some were great, others average like RE5, people were expecting something like RE4 that was going to blow them away when RE5 was released, but Capcom weren't up to the job without Mikami on board. But I think they have learned their lesson and will try harder to make RE6 a better game. They know Dead Space is serious competition now
