The 40gig P$3 is not backwards compatible, but the 80gig is, kinda sorta. The 40gig still does not include dualshock3, but this bundle does. Hmmm..... No wonder its going to sell. The Dualshock 3/6 Axis controller is still Last generation no matter what anyone says. 6 Axis is nice, but the controls are Last Gen.

I liked the game references the author made at the end of his article. I believe, most if not all were japanese based/developed games. I'm sure you all have heard of the recent japanese advertisement that equates/depicts Obama as a monkey. Do a search on it, you'll find it if you havent seen it.

In big business, everybody copies everybody. Someone comes out with a great idea and people copy it, and improve on it. Look at the Automobile for instance. Obviously companies like Nissan and Toyota improved on a great idea. Or how about the Television. The list goes on and on. Where would most companies be right now if they had not copied someone else.
