I loved the original, but somehow this one seems to be getting away from the storytelling focus onto the "let's be as gory as possible" one.
Not sold yet.
It's interesting to note the number of racing game devs that have been closed this year too.
Is that saying there were too many of one genre? Or that the genre is slowing in popularity?
A Cannonball Run (gee I'm old) type game would be cool, but this sounds like a bunch of mini races...
Can't wait for this on consoles. Anyone know a release date besides 2012 for PAL territories?
I've never really heard of this game...and it's coming out in February.
Looks good actually.
Who would have thought a 2D title could score so highly?
Good to see non shooters and fun games for all age groups that isn't only Nintendo stuff do so well!
Kinect shovelware? Who would have thought...
I'd almost consider becoming a PC gamer to play this :)
Looks and sounds pretty good.
Yeah it's up against Activision's own COD as well. They should alternate!
I'm sooo glad offline multi is back in a Bond game.
This is one over-the-top game that doesn't take itself seriously, that's for sure, but some of it is pretty 'iffy'
@ FatOldMan
I think he means shooters with the world in crisis some time in the future and all destroyed places?
If they go less American-centric there are a LOT of WW2 battles and areas they could do that would be fresh.
There were a lot of battles the Germans won before the US got involved for example. There were battles in Greece, Burma, Malta....not just Normandy, Russia, Pacific Isles, Holland, Germany...
Oh yeah! Now you've got my interest. Crossbow shooting, cover shoot, cover shoot. Storm castles!
(not likely)
Actually I don't mind returning to WW2 myself as long as they do a different battle zone.
If it goes ODST it's a mistake imo. If it goes Future Warfare it is just copying GRAW.
Black Ops 2 is most likely imo, but I'm still not sure how interesting it would be.
It's nice to take a break from shooting sometimes, but these games don't really hold my interest much.
Let's Cheer....seriously?
I think he said that he was going to do more?
"are but a few of the best examples of architecture in gaming that I’ve come across, unsorted and open for expansion."
Some might say it is one of the most important considerations when people look at gaming environments, urban and hybrid man-made/natural.
The aesthetics of the natural world of, say Skyrim, and the stone towers is a great mix of man-made and natural that really appeals to the visual senses.
It looks a lot like early Halo?
Interesting, and great you can get a closed beta key for free too.
