It was one of the most impressive and innovative titles of the last console generation....and it was only possible on the XBOX. MS needs to get a lock on any possible follow-up for the 360 or even next-gen.
...for the weekly firmware updates and subsequent patches that follow. 4 years in, and the PS3 UI and feature set is STILL in beta, just like HOME. :o
I agree.....I LOL'd at Sony fanboys doing the EXACT same thing, with Heavy Rain and GOW3. :)
Well, since that date passed over 3 MONTHS ago, I'd say it has a better chance at 02/22/20.....which, at this rate, is actually a possibility. ;)
...Heavy Rain was like Dance Dance Revolution, but without the dance pad. :o
But it was PERFECTLY FINE, when Kojima/Konami did the EXACT SAME THING for MGS4, right???
GTFO, fantroll >>>>>>
....in glorious 480p!
BOTH games went on to sell over 10 million copies EACH, and were released just 3 years apart. In that same timeframe, there's no way Halo 2 ALONE sells as many copies. It's pretty simple business strategy, really.
...was actually a cool little game. Very unique.
Anyone who'd followed the Halo series, and played the games, knew that as soon as Halo 2 ended. The famous 9 minute gameplay trailer for Halo 2, contained gameplay elements that were obviously chopped off of the end of Halo 2, and saved for 3. This isn't news....unless it's 2004 all over again.
....creating a game that only a small percentage of your fanbase can afford to play/enjoy it the way it's meant to be experienced...is BULLSH!T.
But then again, YOU barely TOUCH the damn thing. :{
BTW....MCLA sucked azz (NFS:MW sh!ts all over it)....took it back the next day, and picked up used copies of R6V 1 & 2 (never should've traded them to begin with) for the same $$ as MCLA. :o
SC:C co-op next week though....right?? :D
"We used email addresses and session limiters to try and eliminate duplicate submissions..."
Yes, because as everyone knows, it's IMPOSSIBLE to create another email account. Wow....survey FAIL.
A REAL survey, would ask for specific personal info, as well as all pertinent purchase info... ESPECIALLY what version of the console was purchased, and whether it was new, used, or refurbished. Anyone still experiencing RROD...or even within the past 18 months.... has...
....not anymore than 360 owners want Resistance or Killzone.
....Lara Croft should be saying "You're welcome, Nathan."
I tried to play Crimson Skies online a few different times a couple years ago (still have my original copy), and I could never find ONE SINGLE MATCH. Same goes for MechAssault Lone Wolf. I'm sure by now, it's even more of a ghost town in those lobbies. Halo 2 is the ONLY Xbox game any substantial number of people still play on LIVE....and it's a pathetically small #.
Palpatine maybe?
1.) Rampant piracy
2.) With the rising cost of games, it doesn't make sense to keep PC pricing so low. It doesn't cost any more to dev for 360 or even PS3.
3.) Why give PC gamers such a break anyway? There's no reason whatsoever....and never was.
...doesn't/can't anyone read anymore? Jeez....IT'S NOT GEARS 3.
I called this AGES ago. It's the natural progression of the series, and ties into what Ubisoft Montreal had done with the R6V games, using voice commands and in-game "hand motions".
