I already got one of those.
Cool. I recently ran out of my subscription so I'll be getting this.
I don't like that I have to pay for Xbox Live, but I usually get it for like $40 each year and to me it is worth it for the quality of service I get.
The gameplay and graphics look great, but as far as a review this is pretty worthless to a lot of us who don't speak the language.
I bet I could correctly locate most of the European countries on a map better than you could map out the countries of the Americas.
I also know a lot about the political systems of many European countries. I find it hard to believe that anybody would not know that English is the language spoken in England. But like Zinc said, there are some ignorant people in every country.
So quit generalizing. I have met lots of European people that are not in favor of...
People always confuse the corruption of capitalism with capitalism itself. Corruption exists in any political system. We need to work to get rid of the corruption on Wall Street and so on, but the free market system itself is not the problem.
Corruption will always occur, but the potential for misery under Fascism or Socialism is so much greater than in a free market society.
I can tell you I would much rather live with corruption in a capitalist system tha...
"but why does "photo realism" have to be better than a more artistic approach?"
Subjectively neither one is necessarily better, but it is certainly harder to render a photo realistic environment than a highly stylized one.
The human eye knows how things are supposed to look, therefor if you go for a realistic approach you better have the technology to back it up. Rendering objects with the detail, textures and lighting that they need to l...
I was blown away by the video I saw yesterday. http://www.gamespot.com/sho...
Not by the action (because it was a pretty slow demonstration), but by the fact they were able to get that good of visuals out of a console game.
I was blown away by so many things like the quality of the gun models, the expansiveness of the environment, the amazing texture quality, ...
The only reason MGS4 might have to be on more than one disc is because of all the cut scenes in it, not because of its graphics. MGS4 is a decent looking game but lets be honest nothing about it is that amazing by today's standards. I have played quite a few games since then on the 360 that look better.
The fact that you are calling the 360 "shitbox" makes it pretty obvious that you are just a fanboy anyway. Your post didn't really make any sense. You ba...
I'm convinced most of you on the strictly PS3 side are truly blind and have no clue about visuals. How else can you explain the ridiculous comments claiming Killzone 3 destroys Crysis 2?
I'm sorry but even if you don't agree that Crysis 2 looks better than Killzone 3 there is no way you can claim it is worse. The stuff Crysis 2 is pumping out in the visuals is seriously impressive stuff and if you can't see that it is you who is blind.
That is a great success for the 360. I am happy that all the consoles are doing well this generation.
No it doesn't. Crysis 2 blew me away last night when I saw the 360 version.
Holy sh#t. Why isn't this article getting more attention? I can only assume that most people don't know about it. All I can say is that I am blown away. I never expected the 360 version of Crysis 2 to look this good. Wow. Nothing else looks this good, I mean nothing.
This looks amazing. I can't wait for september. And I like the music.
I've been playing this on my PS3 and it is an amazing and heart-pounding experience. The Dead Space Extraction bonus is also pretty fun. I just wish I had a Move to play it with.
Let's just wait until the game comes out. There have been times in the past where I thought the PS3 version of a game would be better and then it turned out that the 360 version was still better. That happened recently with Mass Effect 2. So lets just wait and see. All I know is that what they have shown of the 360 and especially the PC version looks amazing.
I'm getting both as well. I loved the betas of both games and they both look incredible.
Sorry to both sides, but neither Crackdown nor Infamous looked that good. If you want some examples of great-looking open world games look no further than Red Dead Redemption or Assassin's Creed.
This article is frankly wrong.
It has been confirmed from multiple other sources that the console versions run mostly at settings equivalent to medium settings on the PC. But the console "settings" as a whole can not be directly compared to the PC settings of low, medium or high. It doesn't work that way. Due to the architecture of the consoles some of the settings for the console versions are equivalent to low, some to medium and some to high.

I'm sorry, but no. Killzone 3 comes nowhere close to Crysis 2 now that we have seen some proper footage.

No it doesn't. I'm getting both, but your comment is ridiculous.
