you realize the 3d used in the game is the one that uses the blue/green glasses and it is not the same 3d tech that companies are pushing now
not saying gears 3 is a bad looking game, it looks good..
but you are comparing a bullshot ( and yes that is a bullshot ) vs a shot from beta ( who knows how early )

wow .. so MS is smart/evil .. will force people to renew gold subs for another year who were thinking about letting it expire ( the two posts in this thread ). I am sure people are not too happy with the price increase, and were thinking of letting it expire but will get some time with GeoW online first, now with it moved
they aren't closing down ... well they are planning to close a bunch of stores.. but with this they are getting rid of the debt and are rebuilding themselves ..
prob is too late, if this "rebuild" doesn't work out THEN they can end up closing for good
yea also since it has been only a few days of this week and not even a full week
no one is making you get a 3d tv ... don't want it don't buy it. I am just pointing out that the tv's are not as expensive as they are making it out to be on the boards ( glasses yes, tv's no )
If you are looking for a new tv then 3d ones are an option ... obviously if you got one recently or not looking then why are in the post anyway about tv's.

the tv prices are not bad at all... the glasses are what sucks, 150 a pop sheesh ( prob 10 bucks to make if even that )

look at the samgung plasmas great prices on those
the tv's aren't that much more expensive then the high end tv's last year .. some are even cheaper
but the glasses are overpriced that is for sure
so the wii came about before the eyetoy on ps2?
actually it doesn't track fingers ,
there is a z button , the harder you press the tighter the grip . Which is a good way to get around it.
Can't wait for them to make a game where holding the z button will effect the game ( like press it to hard and break the object you are holding )

glassless 3d will be at least 5 years ( and likely be a bit more)
There are movies out there but not too many .. and the damn greedy companies are locking movies down to their hardware right now as well, making it even harder.

uumm renting through gamefly is about 16 a month .. buying games for 45-50 is not the same as 16 a month
