I actually see myself in a lot of what this article talks about. I just play these games and I feel like they are nothing amazing. I think games have finally hit the point where they have become so expensive to make that the developers take very little chances anymore. Its just more of the same with better graphics. Hopefully PS5 will reawaken that excitement about gaming I once had but I don't think it will because Microtransactions and recycled game mechanics have become the norm
How about fixing the game before worrying about how much money you will make from cosmetic items from the store?
I think its pretty ridiculous to ask are gamers asking too much when these devs are making it very clear that 60 dollars is not enough apparently
How about actually making a good game that gives you entertainment for 60 dollars instead of making a lousy game which gives no entertainment for 60 dollars and puts the only entertainment behind DLC paywalls?
I deleted game from my hard drive. I played it a couple times a couple days after launch, now Im afraid to launch the game because Im thinking maybe it was a new update that caused the PS4 shutdown problem. Im not taking any chances so I deleted it.
Review sites have lost all cred with me. Anthem no way does it deserve a 57. It is fun, beautiful graphics. Im having a blast with it
I could tell when they released first real gameplay vids it was downgraded. This is why I stopped watching E3. Seriously, do not watch e3 if you do not like being dissapointed and lied to. But Metro Exodus still looks good but nothing like that E3 vid
Hey gamers kept boasting about how this game had 25 million players but I kept saying this was because it was free. Now lets see how much actual money they make with these ridiculous prices. Lets see if EA stock keeps rising. Lol
I buy one game a month. That's it. I pick whichever game I wanna play the most. This way I do not fall into trap of spending too much on weekly releases and buying bad games
Battle Royale games only hold my attention for a few matches
I would not pay 59.99 for this Game but then again, I am not a Zelda fanatic. U gotta remember that the only reason why a lot of these remakes on PS4 are not 60 dollars is because the developer doesn't think they will get many sales at that high of a price point. It's not for the gamers benefit. Just goes to show these companies are out to get as much as they think they possibly can from your wallet. Nintendo knows they have Zelda fanatics who will buy any Zelda game for 60. If you do...
Activision is hurting their company by trying to over monetize their games. Bungie is better off without them.
Yeah 25 million is massive. Crazy numbers. This game has become a huge success and everyone who has played has said nothing but positive things.
Im not gonna miss playing Crackdown 3 because I will be playing Anthem
These companies think they can replace powerful hardware and a good library of both first and third party games with marketing. Marketing a product only goes so far. You gotta have powerful hardware and the games people want to back it up.
Sales were poor because EA had a bad public image behind their loot crate policies and they pissed gamers off by saying Don't like it don't buy it.
10 million people downloaded it because its free.
I do not think thats too good actually. You have only been out a week, yes 10 million sounds good but the concurrent player count, not saying its bad 1 million is good but should be higher if 10 million people downloaded this game a week ago.
Not impressed by any of these deals to be honest. To many games priced at 40-45 bucks. I don't buy in till they are 30.
