maybe it's just me. TF2 looks cool as hell though. HL2 looks old and dated.
but is this just GFX. I thought that H3 could have looked better, but it is hella fun. As far as improvements time does not always = improvements. GOW has looked the same since it was first shown at E3. Also Gears or War falls short on content. Rainbow Six is 10x better than Gears and it is ugly. I'm not a Sony faithful but come on guys. people wanted the pS3 to be cheaper and now they complain about not having BC. Is BC that important. I did not justify to $600 console but I do justify the $400 one. I hate Sony's arrogance and their failure to acknowledge gamers for making the PS brand successful. However I applaud them for making the PS3 cheaper. If you (gamers and xbox guys) don't see the value in the $400 PS3 then you never will see the value in gaming.
however when I was in walmart I noticed something. Sony's demo disc that runs on the display says "The pS3 is the only next gen console designed to be fully BC". I don't have any PS2 games and I never got a PS2 so I don't need BC. I know people that do though. They say they play PS2 games until PS3 gets some that they like. So I say play your Ps2 and don't get a PS3 until it gets games you like. This is a very simple concept. 40 GB for me guys.
With all the hype around the game I hope it delivers. I need a ACE ps3 FPS for when I get a PS3. I just hate the fact that it is being labeled a Halo killer. That is a lot to live up to.
I got the game home on my HDTV. Looks good in person. Low quality net vids should not be use to judge GFX only high quality vids. For some reason the MP looks better than the SP. Anyone else think the same?
when I get home I have to crank it up. I played big team battle for about 3 hours on Sat. Sunday I got up and watched vids of it.

Most of us know the specs but we still complain/compare them. It's like this. In the long run are the games going to be fun? You can throw 100 gigs of space at a game hell even 200 gigs of space at it but will it be good. Xbox guys nothing will change the 360 has DVD 9 get over it. Every PS3 exclusive will claim that the game is too big for the 360 so why would you care? If in 2 years the 50 gigs of space will be worth the purchase then why can't we wait until fall 2009 to get a PS3? I...

I look to upgrade every 4 years. My attention span is limited. I don't own any Ps3 game so I don't care either. When the pS4 drops I wont care about PS3 games either. Said for the 360 when the 720 drops screw the 360 games.
How many PS3 supporters that did not have pS3's. That is very lame indeed. 40 gb for me pending a few questions I have about the system. I'm sure those will be cleared up before the console hits the shelf.

I like console shooters better. I have played shooters on PC, but it's something that I don't like. PC's will always be better in the hardware front.
I don't care who they work for. And that is the bottom line. Maybe M$ looked at what happened with Gears or War. Maybe paying for exclusives is better than paying to make them. This could either be great for M$ or great for Bungie. I wonder what other games Bungie will make other than Halo?
The 360 version is not better. It just has a LE version. Who buys the LE version.
And I will that much out of Halo3. Now Bio only has single player so that is valid. Multiplayer adds replay value.

Maybe I missed something. The PS2 was a POS in the power department, and half you guys praised it. Last time I checked games are what decided who sold the most consoles.
