Who gets a PS3 for Home?
I agree to a point. I have a DVD player in every room in my house. I don't want to full invest in BR right now if I have to buy the BR and DVD version of the some movie. I want the price of the movies to come down a lot. I find old movies for under $20 but most of the new release BR available at retail outlets run from $25 to $30. I can get movies cheaper on the net but then shipping charges go into play. I still think that BR overall is not at a mainstream price point that everyone ca...
The price of the stand alone player is good. I think that once the movies go down then things will really take off. Hell, I refuse to buy a DVD if it's more than $15.

Who said Grand Theft Auto IV would sell more on the Xbox 360? Ok ok, maybe it did but Take-Two Interactive has revealed that the Playstation 3 has earned the company more money.
So how much did the console’s earn Take-Two? The PS3 earned the company $347.0 million, the 360 made them $281.5 million and lastly, the Wii earned them $112.0 million. What i don’t get is the PS3 and 360 sales were driven by Grand Theft Auto IV.

the 360 died in 06 so what. That is what was going on in the internet. You can either buy what you like or get what the media tells you to buy. BTW I though that the console sales of the PS3 were good, on the other hand the software sales have been lower than what I expected. Many thought that once the PS3 launched all other consoles would die off and Sony would take the lead as the console of choice by consumers. I still think that most people want a PS3 but are held back by the price. ...

As I plan to get a stand alone player in the near future. I would like for the movies to get cheaper though.
The sales are low. Who cars why? Fanboys hurt games more than they help. LBP was suppose to be the next Mario. LBP was suppose to kill the 360. LBP was suppose to be the "you tube" of video games. If all the hype boys actually purchase what they praised then this great game would have returned a great profit to the great developers that made it. LBP looks like a fresh game that could in the end change video games in the future.
If you buy what you like then awards and ratings mean nothing. Here is an example for you. I thought COD4 was a POS, and I mostly play FPS.

that GTA4 would have been better. So with that logic every PS3 exclusive is miles better than every 360 exclusive. 9 gigs VS 50 gigs 5 times better. So infamous will be 5 times bigger than GTA4. Looks like someone has watched too many Sony press conferences. It takes more than a storage media to make a game good. I would hope that you know that.
