Look at the live activity and you will see Halo 3 still at the top. Hype can get you in the door but it will not keep you in.
They only matter when what you like gets good numbers. Now when your fav games gets killed then sales mean nothing. ODST will get sales and so will UC2. These are not even the same type of game. A FPS DLC conpares to a 3rd person shooter/action game. You should at least compare UC2 to Gears 2 for sales.

Most die hard racing fans will get both games if they have both consoles, so why does one have to be better? GT5 will have it's pros and so will F3. After 5 years of dev time GT5 should have every feature F3 has plus some. When you go second you have the advantage of seeing what features the competition has you can follow and upgrade. Maybe IGN should call you guys and get your take on a game before they publish a review. This is an opinion and not every one will like the same game. Read about the features, watch videos, and make your own decision about a purchase. I don't care if my favorite game gets a 1/10, because my opinion is what matters most.

There are games on the Wii that look as if there was 10 hours of dev time spent on them. Gamers speak with $$$ so no buy = no go. The Wii crowd is mixed with non-gamers though and it will be hard for M$ to get those guys on a 360.
