Lots of good looking shooters dropping this year. MW3, BF3, and Resistance3 look to be good if not great games.

GOW is the first game i pkayed on PS3. I did not understand the hype around it until i played a good amount of it. Kratos is a bad Mofo.
But removing features year after year is a negative for the PS3.

I have enjoyed my 360 10x more than my PS3. I had a 360 since launch day and I got a PS3 a 4 months ago. I hope than in time I will have equal enjoyment.

Gears 3 is a no brainer. My most anticipated game of 2011.
I got a PS3 in Feb 2011, and I'm thinking I wasted $300 on it. I use it for Blu-ray and netflix most of the time. When I first got it I played it all the time. Now I force myself to give it some love. I skipped out on the PS2 last gen, and right now I'm wishing I skipped out on the PS3. I need a solid exclusive FPS(KZ3 did not do it) on this thing or I may trade it in at Best Buy.

KZ3 is a joke.
Game engines get more efficient and dev get better with other resources for consoles over time. It happens every generation and it will continue to happen. This game does not look as good as the PC version, but it does look good.
PS3 or 360? I can't wait to see the 360 verison.
A multiplat FPS on the 360 and the PS3. I will go with the 360 version. If history repeats the 360 version will be better. Plus the PS3 controller is garbage. Playing a FPS on a controller with flimsy analog sticks is not the way to go.
Since everyone on N4G is a console design expert I have one question. How long does it take to make a console?
other than Blu-ray what is good about the PS3? The console is being updated with patches all the time. Sony has removed features from the PS3 with every SKU that is released. The games are on par with the 360 and the online is garbage. Why do I have to wait so long to DL a demo and then wait to install the darn thing? Why do the updates take so long? Lets see how it is when it comes out. PS3 or 360 does not matter to me. I hope the game is good, most PC based shooters are not good on camsoles.
I have not played either. I just picked up uncharted 2 (don't kill me) and that games is sweet. I will pre-order UC3 as soon as I find the place with the best deal. When I pre-order LA Noire at Best Buy and I got a $20 gift card. I hope I find something like that for UC3.
