This is about the sales not the reason why. It's up to the console manufacture to manufacture for the demand. If Sony does not hit their demand it's not M$ fault. Coming up with a good product is only one step in selling it. Once Sony gets their numbers up they will sale more. Will it be more than 360? I think the answer is yes.

Since BR players cost twice as much as HD-DVD players it should look better, right? The fact is that it does not. Best buy also refuses to advertise HD-DVD at the stores. They don't want to to buy the players. They guy at Best Buy even told me that the HD-DVD's we 9 gig disc and that all BR movies were on 50 gig disc. He also went on to tell me that all PS3 games fill 50 gig BR disc. Sony is forcing BR to the public through PS3. Without PS3 BR will have no chance in Hell to beat HD-DVD....
If they screw up your console they should fix it. Now at M$ defense they don't know who is calling in at making up lies. You can say the update broke it but you don't know for sure unless it is obvious. Eitherway it's bad for M$ and bad for gamers.

We should not be comparing screen between the 360 and the PS3. THe PS3 cost $100 to $200 more that the 360. You can't compare the Wii to the 360 as far as gfx goes. That is only a $50 to $150 difference. With more dev time things just may change.
If the 360 cost $200 for the prem. with Blue Dragon included it would help. THe Japanese will not support a western console. I hope I'm wrong.
I have a right to voice what I think. The scaler should have been there. Why wait for a patch. The PS3's HD res will not upscale. This is pi$$ poor. I played the the demo today and I liked it. Can't wait to get home and buy it. Thanksgiving small arms, and some Gear co-op with the family will be sweet. And think, it did not cost me $600.
THis should have never happened. How could Sony not have this worked out. I would hate to see what would have happened if they launced in spring. The first update should have fixed this.

There is more to selling a console that just hardware cost. This is the advantage to being out for 1 year. Sony had the same advantage with the PS2. Now with the ps3 BEING $600 M$ does not have to drop the price. You can thank Sony for raising the price of consoles.
